Hi friends! I am so excited to share a new layout today that I made using many layers of mixed media and Vicki’s new Mixed Media collection! I created the circles on the background with her new acrylic paints, texture pastes, inks, stamps, Distress Oxides, stencils, washi tape, and Cosmic Watercolors! I also threw in some circles I punched out of patterned paper from the 12 x 12 Mixed Media Collection. I created the background with a mixture of watercolors, stamps, and inks from the new release. It’s difficult to come up with new words to describe your talent. I know you’ve seen them all before, but this layout us
just beyond AWESOME. Loved the mixed media to make circles, then adding the circle stamps for more emphasis. LOVE THIS ❤❤❤

Yikes! Your background page was so beautiful! I couldn’t have cut it up. ( I think “crosshatch” is the term you were looking for) 23:15 Sarah you’re so creative you should produce your own line of scrapbook materials.

Thank you so much, sweet Denise! My tip for that would be to keep reminding yourself that it’s just a piece of paper. The worst that can happen if you “mess it up” is that you would lose a piece of paper. However, with mixed media, you can just add a layer of white paint of white gesso and start again on another layer! I have often started with something I don’t like and just keep working or adding layers until I get to something I love!🩷🧡🩵
