I feel the same as you do. Kevin, his beautiful pets soothe my soul and help to keep me calm and grounded. And everything Kevin prepares in the kitchen always looks delicious and decadent. And easy to make. 💐
You can hang the linen napkins instantly after washing them so that they will stay almost wrinkle-free. You can also pre-iron them just before hanging them to dry. So afterwards it‘ll be very easy to get them perfectly nice and ironed. Love your videos, dear colleague! 💝🙋🏻♀️
You are just so calm and gracious. Your videos are my favorite. Why is the person you are sharing a meal with never seen? Thanks so much Kevin you are such an inspiration ❤️.
I'm originally from Texas, so I always use corn tortillas for tacos and enchiladas. And I love to use cabbage for Mexican dishes. It's more authentic and I like the texture and taste better than lettuce.
We also take refuge in your lovely videos. We appreciate refinement. Thank you for giving us all a place to go when the insanity of the world is just too great to bear. Be well. We love you, Kevin. We love your working in the soil, we love your flower arrangements, we love your trips to the farmer's market -- just everything you do brings us great joy.
I love this program. As a young homemaker I’ve learned so much about gardening, cooking, hosting and overall just enjoying the home. You are a beacon of light and hope. ❤
Well said. I couldn't agree more. And I love how he now incorporates,Avery, Binky and Goldie into every video. They're a pleasure to see and they look so happy. You can see that they adore Kevin and love their home.
@@judybutler5129 yes. They are a very happy home. & I think that is a lost craft in America that Kevin is bringing back into society. Happy homes equal happy societies.
Mr. Kevin, what a pleasure to be getting a notification that a new video is uploaded on your channel. Today's video has everything ! Good food, recipes for a good drink, outdoor time and time spend with your fur children. I just love spending time with you Mr. Kevin. Thank you ❤😊
Hola! Me encanta lo que haces, delicado, con mucho amor. Se aprecia mucho en estos días donde todo es rápido. La música es preciosa. Gracias una semana más.
One of the reasons I love your channel so much is that the things you do are practical and realistic. Your gorgeous silver platter, is an example. There are a lot of silver items at charity shops and yard sales for very low prices but I never bought any. Caring for it seemed too difficult. You have inspired me to use wonderful things that are out there for everyone and very attainable. Thank you, Kevin!
Hi Kevin. Love your channel. I iron altar linens for my church. They are made of finest linen. After washing I roll the wet linens in a towel and place in plastic bag in refrigerator overnight. Then I iron them with a dry iron and keep going over each area until dry. They come out very crisp and wrinkle free. Hope this helps you. Your fan Pam from Florida. ❤
Everyone has there own technique, I too make cloth damp, but press hems strait first then the interior….. Keven we had a last minute lunch at a friends ,franks and beans sweet potato fries ,linen table cloth and napkins, flowers on the table made it seem so much more than a bbq … table full of caring and love ….
I agree with you about ironing. It's one of the first chores my dad taught me to do when I was little. He was very particular about how his handkerchiefs and shirts were ironed. I've always enjoyed it--I think it's because the process brings order out of the chaos of wrinkles! It's very satisfying! Lol
A genteel Southern lady taught me to spread out wet/damp linen napkins on a flat surface (counter top) and take your hand and smooth it out flat. When it dries, it is if it is pressed with an iron. Over the year, I have done so, and it always makes me smile as it reminds me of her wisdom and her friendship 😊 Only works on 100% linen. Thank you for always brightening my day when watching your latest as I learn something worthwhile and useful 😊
I began using cloth napkins for every meal in the 80's to lighten our carbon footprint, and can't imagine life without them! The chicken tacos look delish. Thank you Kevin for another lovely video.🌮😍❤
Those napkins are beautiful. Don't dry them fully (straight out of spin cycle is good) to make ironing them easier. Hanging baskets are looking spectacular.
I've discovered your channel just a couple of months ago and me and my mum liked your lovely and peaceful videos in a blink of an eye. It's immediately become our tradition - enjoying your kitchen, home and garden updates while having slow Sunday lunch. Thank you so much for bringing so much joy, pleasure and comfort, greetings from Siberia!❤
Hello,Kevin❤ I love all your videos and wish you and your family great health and happiness. My mother is…98 years old and still polishes her silver! I’m showing her your video tomorrow knowing she will truly enjoy it. Love from Athens,Greece❤
The floral arrangement is one of your prettiest, Kevin. I had a good friend who loved to make mojitos. Sadly, we lost touch when he moved abroad. He used to really get into the muddling part! Aw, I do miss Nick

It's a good idea to put the tacos in the holders, I am in Mexico City and I make a mess when I eat tacos, gracias Kevin because I see you like the Mexican cuisine and Spanisch ❤
Kevin, I’m also enjoy ironing. I tend to do mine when I have laundry in the washing machine. Today you are doing some of the things I enjoy doing, making pickled red onions, chicken fajitas, and polishing silver and brass pieces. 😀😀😀
Hello Dear Kevin, You're looking well. I take pleasure in the seeing the variety of things you incorporate into every video. You manage to make everything so interesting. And each episode is nicely varied. I also really enjoy seeing Avery, Binky and Goldie. They were very playful today. 😂 They seem to like the stairways a lot. Those tacos with the delicious looking pickled onions look tasty and I know if I make them, I'd have to mmu ch down at least 2! Same thing with those mojitos! 😅 Have a wonderful weekend, Kevin. Our weather is now becoming very warm and pleasant. I have lots of work to do on my balcony and planting my Tomatillos and Baby Beets. And flowers. And I will enjoy every moment of it! Cheers, Judy Ontario 🇨🇦
I am so happy to see the many comments and reactions to the linen napkins. They will be beautiful on one of your elegantly decorated table settings. As always, love your videos and meal preps.
My day got so busy so I had to finish watching today's episode late night. Still has the same effect watching at the end of my day. Calms my soul. All is right with the world, after watching your show. You remind us of the beauty that life has to offer. I appreciate your efforts. The chicken tacos look delicious! Perfect warm weather food. I like the idea of serving mojitos along side. I once had a mojito with fresh blueberries in too. Turned a little bit blue, but tasty. I suppose you could make them different ways. Also want to try making the pickled onions. They would be nice on a salad too. Beautiful silver tray. The cocktails look so elegant set on it. Love to see the kits lounging and frolicking on the stairs. I do own an iron and ironing board, and have enjoyed doing before. It can be very relaxing and make you forget about problems, etc. It makes me think of the neighbor lady when I was a child. She had eleven children, and her ironing board stayed up permanently in her living room. Almost everything needed ironing in those days. I think they even ironed bed sheets. Maybe some people still do. I agree that it's better to use cloth napkins to help the environment. I also try to use tea towels instead of using paper towels whenever I can. Thank you for the video. Take care and have a great weekend. See you next time.♥️🌮🍹🐈⬛🐈🌸🌷🌼
I’m from a time and place where electricity was a luxury item. My mom was a seamstress and my father a tailor, they made custom garments for the upper echelons in our city. We didn’t have an electric iron; those we had were filled with hot coals and wiped clean before applying to the garment that was always first covered with a length of pressing cloth (think very Victorian era) 😅 For creaseless cottons and linens (and even delicates such as raw silk or rayon that were ironed last when the coals cooled down), after hand washing they would be gently tugged and stretched into shape. Some would be hung to dry while others would be laid on a sheet or towel on a clean flat surface. Some would also be sprinkled (dampened) if necessary and folded into “rough mounds” and placed in a basket until they could be ironed. Before ironing the edges would be stretched again and they were always ironed first before doing the inner parts. I think those irons were referred to as “sod irons”. Ironing was an art! Nothing was burnt or scorched and creases and collars were impeccable and ramrod straight!! Indeed, those were the days! 😂😂
Kevin, those tacos look delicious! Thanks for introducing us to pelleted seeds. They sound like a brilliant way to plant tiny seeds. We learn something new from each video you share with your viewers.
Hello Kevin from ⛵⛵ Lakes Region New Hampshire. Your linen napkins have brought back a fond memory of my mother. She would take wrinkled items and sprinkle them with a shaker bottle filled with warm water. The items were placed into a pillow case and stored in the bottom section of a kitchen cupboard for a brief period. Then she would take them out individually and steam iron them....
What a great video. Loved seeing Avery; Binky and Goldie. The tray turned out so beautiful and the music very soothing. I love the new napkins. The spray for fabric wrinkles does work. The only problem, there is a residue left behind. Dinner looked delicious. I am always amazed that something grows from tiny seeds, fascinating. Hope you and your family are doing well. As always , very happy I found your channel.❤😊
Hello Kevin just wanted to thank you for the free shipping code for Tierra farms. I ordered their orange spice organic tea , I highly recommend it. It was lovely. The packaging was all recyclable material , and all products are organic. I so enjoy your videos, Especially your Piano playing❤ take care and stay well.
Kevin, this is another superb video!!! I wish I could just snap my fingers and have about five raised beds in my back yard-I know I would immensely enjoy gardening this way!!! I definitely want to start some herb pots. Your tacos look delicious. I have never had a mojito, so perhaps it’s time to try one!!! That silver tray cleaned up so well-it is so beautiful-what a lucky find for $5. Kevin, I love to iron-I always have!!! I also find it very cathartically stimulating. I like to watch an old movie or listen to good music while I iron. Right now, I have a large basket overflowing with napkins and handkerchiefs waiting on me to iron them. 💝
Dear Kevin, I truly find joy in your video uploads!! I am very fond of cloth napkins and tablecloths and have ironed many of them through the years. For 100% linen napkins, I find that having them very damp and adding a spray starch makes a tremendous difference in getting rid of stubborn wrinkles!! Happy ironing!! 😊
One of my chores as a young child was ironing my dad's handkerchiefs. Then as i mastered that i ironed pillowcases and eventually shirts! I actually loved it! Id rather iron than dust furniture or sweep!!!
Your exactly right about paper napkins! I have found once I launder the napkins take them out of the washer immediately, hang onto a drying rack smooth out wrinkles and that takes care of most wrinkles. Any wrinkles remains easily iron out. Napkins as well as bed sheets iron best when damp! Keep up the great content
I too enjoy ironing, it’s very calming to me, and I too use linen napkins , even when I dine alone daily. It’s adding a little elegance to my simple elegant life.
I love a thrift store find of silverplate which always looks elegant with a ceramic teapot and cups. Your videos are so relaxing and pleasant. After a day of work, it is nice to sit on my patio , listen to the birds, and enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching your videos. You keep a little bit of lovely in what can often be a very ugly world. Looking forward to your next video.
Cher Ami Kévin. C est toujours un grand plaisir de regarder vos vidéos. Mille mercis à vous. Votre plateau est en métal argenté car en argent massif il n y aurait aucun manque. Cela dit il est magnifique. Que Dieu vous garde. Jlouis. Paix et Amour
Hi Kevin. Something to consider: a Mexican friend of mine always warms her flour and corn tortillas lightly on both sides in a greaseless skillet pan before filling. It really brings out the flavor.
My family has always used cloth napkins, we were raising the in the time of the mother earth craze. I never used paper towels either. It's not much work to throw a few napkins in the wash, the same with dish clothes, towels and cleaning rags. You always set such a beautiful table. It makes the food taste better.
Wow, how this ironing takes me back- my French Gramama and my English Nana both had beautifully starched and ironed linens, and I used to hate ironing towels and other things people wouldn't dream of ironing now, but I respect their standards more and more. ( Don't attain them, I hasten to add, but you, Kevin, certainly do!).
Kevin, you live such a gracious life. Please don’t change … ever. You seem to easily cultivate a garden. In SW Florida, a garden is a battle: the weeds, the insects, the heat, the hurricanes. I grew up in Michigan and my mother always had a lovely garden. We grow other things in SW Florida. It’s not as beautiful as your gardens. We have the ghost orchid, but you have to wade into an alligator-infested swamp to see it. I’m lucky enough to have a Clyde Butcher photo of a ghost orchid. I visited his studio in the Everglades and was eaten by mosquitoes. Not just a bite, but a swarm of them on my body and up my nose.
Once again - I wish I were your neighbor! What a lovely way to spend the day! LOL, ironing? Not my favorite chore, but I do it. My mother would take in laundry when I was a child, and I worked as a maid One summer when I was 13. Mom would have me iron and, of course, I had to iron for my employer. Linen is brutal! I remember using a soda bottle with a sprinkle stopper - Worked like a charm! Now we just use spray bottles.
Back before the days of 'permanent press' finishes on fabrics, a batch of line dried, starched items would be sprinkled with water, balled up, and all placed inside a bag that was kept in the refrigerator to keep them from drying out while doing a day's ironing. You could buy a corked sprinkler head that perfectly fit a 32 oz. glass coke bottle that was made at that time. I'm so glad those days are over.Your silver tray shined up beautifully. The tacos look fabulous. I'd imagine those onions give them a delightful crunch. Great video.
"Wrinkle Releaser" (Spray) is a Fabric Relaxer. The secret ingredient is Placenta and distilled water. You can buy the cheapest hair conditioner and mix it with hot water to make Wrinkle Release for a fraction of what the Product costs. But you don't need it. And don't starch, it is a bacteria Host that will rot fabric. What you need to deal with linen wrinkling is to Machine wash Gentle and Dry Low Timed for 15 - 20 minutes pulling the item out on time and hang. Use a Quality Steam Iron and distilled water for a crisp finish press. My Current Irion is a Pur // Steam. I formerly used Snarks like you are using. The Pur // Steam gets hotter and is more even. It is a Wattage difference. Side by side you would see what I am saying. I wear linen and cotton almost exclusively due to my climate and keep everything as wrinkle free as possible. Love your show. Look forward to the new episodes.
Hi keven x all..Greets from Dublin.enjoying your video this evening ..my moments off peace..then l wii b doing my lroning.,,i bring a spray bottle ,filled with water ..l might need for crease cloths..take care off yourself..in sunshine, time for hats..now im sounding like my late mother.who i miss everyday..god bless.x
Hi Kevin I was a fashion designer many years ago, if I need to iron difficult fabric I would use a spray bottle of vinegar and spray the fabric and then iron. I hope that helps you.❤
I don't love ironing but as a quilter it is essential. I find that my best technique is to use the right iron. Rowenta makes good irons for domestic use but to quickly tackle linen and other challenging fabrics nothing beats an iron meant for tailors/commercial garment makers. It made all the difference for me. Costs just a bit more about than a higher-end home iron.
Thank you for another wonderful video Kevin. Those tacos look delicious. I am going to try them. I am going to make the onions as well. I really enjoy when you include the fur babies. They are so adorable. You inspire me to take on tasks in a patient, calm manner. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed I don't know where to start. Your videos help me a lot. I look forward to your next one.
Kevin, I’m going to adopt you but first, I have to fly to Colorado ,to meet my great granddaughter ,who is now 3 months old. I cannot wait to hold her, read to her and sing baby songs.❤😅
For stubborn linen just fill water in a spray bottle. Spray each piece liberally and crinkle it in your hands. Leave them for 10 minutes. Then iron out with steam iron. It is so easy. I also starch my cotton linens and this is the only way to iron them.
Kevin, you hit it out of the park - AGAIN! I am making your pickled onion recipe tomorrow. I bought the taco holders from Amazon -- who knew? Now it's easy! As for ironing, I have to be "in the mood." But once I am, I always ask myself - why do I put this off? There is definitely instant gratification in the ironed napkins, clothing, tablecloths or whatever. Oh! And to see sweet Avery, Binkie and Goldie?! Heaven! Thank you. Blessings upon you all!
I love your videos. I am going to make the pickled onions for our next taco night. One of your older videos you made tea sandwiches. My daughter and I made them and had tea and scones all your recipes. Thank you so much for sharing ♥️
I use a product called magic sizing, it comes in a spray can. I use it and a dry iron. It works wonderfully. It leaves the fabric soft and clean smelling. I am enjoying all of your posts. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Please take care. Bye for now.
What a great video, Kevin! The tacos look delish, and I've actually been meaning to learn how to pickle onions. Those flowers are looking gorgeous as well!

Votre plateau est en métal argenté car en argent massif il n y aurait aucun manque. Cela dit il est magnifique.
Que Dieu vous garde.

Hi Kevin. Something to consider: a Mexican friend of mine always warms her flour and corn tortillas lightly on both sides in a greaseless skillet pan before filling. It really brings out the flavor.
How lovely a visit with Kevin 🇬🇧
Barbara from Soith Africa. - I also use cloth napkins
I look forward to your vlogs! I just wish they were longer and more frequent ❤. You bring calmness to my day.
Thank you for making the world a better place Kevin & Mr Fox!
Cloth napkins make dinning that much more special. ❤
Totally agree about ironing and about using cloth napkins!
Great video!!
Thank you......some great new information about soil, seeds and carrots! Lovely to watch your entertaining videos and learn new things too!
Mom had a coke bottle with a cork and she did the same. The refrigerator was always full of linens!😅
My Aunt Nancy taught me how to iron with my Uncle Stuart's handkerchiefs.

For the Mojitos you have to put sugar and try to mushed it with the mint leaves , cheers from Lima Peru
Liebe Grüße aus Österreich, danke 😊

You had a very productive Day and I enjoyed spending every minute in your company! ❤
Thank you Kevin for this time with you. I enjoy it very much. Have a good night, Hasta el proximo video Kevin.
Ironing on a rainy day is heavenly to me!!!
I always sleep better on ironed pillowcases ✨
Tellement sympathiques ces vidéos qui donnent " la pêche " thank you from south of France
Hi Kevin
I was a fashion designer many years ago, if I need to iron difficult fabric I would use a spray bottle of vinegar and spray the fabric and then iron. I hope that helps you.❤
I enjoy ironing too, Kevin! I especially like ironing sheets and pillowcases.
Yes, Rowenta makes the job much easier.
Kevin, so excited to tell you that I went and bought plants, soil for my potted plants and did a little landscaping . You inspire me! 😊
I do enjoy watching your videos even I will never do such a good cooking, gardening and ironing and all other house works.
Kevin, you make me smile throughout your entire videos! I love our journeys together!!
Toothbrush is handy Kevin. Absolutely love you and your wonderful home
Another inspiring video. 👏👏👏
What a great video, Kevin! The tacos look delish, and I've actually been meaning to learn how to pickle onions. Those flowers are looking gorgeous as well!
🌸 very nice
You always soothe my soul and my family loves it when I make one of your recipes.
Love the taco stands!
Nice to see you have your meals outside in the warm weather!
Kevin, the cast iron urn you painted looks amazing with the flowers you chose❤
