In all of the videos I’ve watched so far, why is this the first time I’m seeing you play piano? It’s amazing and it should be in every episode! Thank you for bringing joy into people’s lives.

I also enjoyed hearing and watching you play the piano, which I love. For a brief period a long time ago, I had a piano. Your Yamaha is beautifully tuned and looks like it is dressed in a tuxedo, shiny black. BEAUTIFUL. I have both forsythia and crab apple trees in my development so before I clip anything I ask permission, and I keep the amount down. I think I will try the chicken dish soon. I love it when silver is beautifully polished, as it was intended to be. Your pieces are lovely.
BTW, today is the first day I am trying laundry washing machine sheets! I have contemplated doing this for a very long time. Watching you do it in one of your videos inspired me. THANK YOU 😊

I have a girlfriend age 70 who just started learning to play the piano. It has been a goal for many years but it wasn't until her retirement this goal was full filled. She gets better each day. It is a pleasure to support her. I've never heard of cold slaw and eggs.

It’s also Etiquette 101: Don’t make comparisons in general between people as it might offend the person and it undermines their unique individuality. I saw one girl tell another girl she looked like Marlene Dietrich and the girl being compared freaked out and got super angry. Not only that, the person making the comparison became offended that the girl was offended! Not very considerate at all. 🤦🏼♀️

I admire your house, garden, I really like it. I like it when you sit down at the piano and the classics sound. When the alarm sounds and a siren sounds outside the window (I live in Kyiv, there is a war in Ukraine), I also often sit down at my instrument, open Bach and my soul becomes lighter. Chopin, Liszt, Brahms, Schumann are my favorites. My profession was music, I was a former accompanist. Thank you for the wonderful videos, you are an amazing master of cozy, atmospheric sketches from your life. Your creativity brings me comfort and joy. Thank you for sharing your life experiences as well! I am an LA native, and still here. About 43 years ago, I was in Sevilla for about 6 mos and told myself I would retire there someday. Well, I am still working, and don't think I will be moving, but how is Andalucia these days? Such beautiful memories there! Btw, KLJ is my joy as I age. I feel as I have the company I needed!! = )

Kevin I've noticed the difference between your videos from 3 or 4 years ago and the videos that you make today. Previously when you made the videos yourself you added so much humor that you probably didn't even know how funny you could possibly be. And I so enjoy that relaxed quality that you still have in your current videos. Although you are a little more refined now and not as spontaneous as you were before I still enjoy what you do every day that I watch your videos
Good morning Kevin,Avery, Binky and Goldy! If you want old fashioned fried chicken...add milk to the eggs in your dredging station...season the flour with paprika, salt & peper and onion and garlic salt. Then double dip the chicken to get extra crispy chicken and fry til done. Not always considered healthy but o so yummy😊❤

Thank you for the wonderful Chopin piano playing. Excellent! I actually got a little teary eyed, so beautiful. Chopin is one of my top favorites. I'm an artist and have to say I created some of my best work while listening to Chopin. I enjoy seeing someone play beautifully in their own home. Reminds me of when growing up, my older sisters practicing the piano. They both stuck with it and became more accomplished than myself. I studied enough to gain an appreciation for. Maybe should start practicing. Anyway, lovely to hear. Love to see the animal action on the grand staircase. The silver looks beautiful. Reminded me of helping my mom polish the silver for various entertaining events, holidays,etc while growing up. You are right that it can be very relaxing. Not sure why. The chicken and roasted red pepper dinner sounds delicious. I happen to have purchased a jar of those peppers and some chicken just yesterday. Must have had a premenition or something. Perfect Sunday dinner menu.(or any day) I feel like gathering some twigs also from the yard, then hang easter eggs on later this month. I can't believe it is already approaching spring. Thank you for another lovely video. I'm so excited to learn about the coleslaw-egg hack! I love a good veggie scramble, but it's a lot of washing, slicing, sautéing. Using bagged coleslaw mix is a brilliant! It's like a cabbage shakshuka. Also wanted to say how much I enjoy the country drives and lovely videography. And as a cat-and-dog-loving-but-sadly-allergic person, I am always absolutely delighted to get to share a bit of of the life of your pets. Cheers!

In the winter put your candle sticks outside. Once they get to freezing temps just tap the sticks on your counter or in your sink lightly and the wax will fall off.

After I polish my silver I remove the polish by washing in hot sudsy water--then dry with soft cloth.

A+ on the breakfast. I eat cruciferous veggies and eggs daily. I boil bone in, skin on chicken with salt and turmeric. It makes the most delicious bone broth. And I poach eggs in it. Tastes almost like Miso soup. So delicious. So good for us. And if you take requests, Les Trois Gymnopedies.

For the first time, I sorta wrinkled my nose at one of your recipes when you made coleslaw and eggs. However, I like cabbage and I like eggs so I'd probably like your recipe - just never heard of it. I had to look up the definition for "hone" . I had thought it meant the same as sharpening but you made me learn that it means smoothing as well as sharpening. I'd also never heard your tip for removing wax from silver candlesticks in the oven - Eek! Your dinner recipes were new to me as well. It looked divine. Sharing your piano practice was lovely - Schubert?. I remembered in an earlier video you said you'd been working on your Schubert. You're going to turn me into a sophisticate yet! Another great video filled with things that make life interesting, genteel and enjoyable. Thank you!

There's a lot one could unpack from this episode, but what came to mind, for me, was all of the houses I've inspected in my career, and the most memorable kitchens. I don't know how many viewers will agree with me, but I have found the warmest, most inviting kitchens to be smaller in size. I've seen houses that are more like auditoriums than a place to relax, and what I find cold and uninviting are miles and miles of marble countertops, islands the size of football fields, and massive windows more suited to a Holiday Inn swimming pool than a space for cooking. Speaking of which, I have found people who live in these grand houses fitted up with magazine-style kitchens simply don't cook. My best memories were of smaller, more intimate settings, where sheer intimidation of scale didn't exist, and homeowners were apt to make the kitchen more than just a place to grab a banana and a glass of goat's milk, or to microwave a frozen entre at 9pm every night. I truly believe we react to our surroundings, and the best kitchen is a cozy kitchen. By the way... you seem able to find unusually large chicken breasts over there in New York State. Just saying...
