Very nice video Scotty! Been to Florence and Pisa but not Livorno. Now I wish my Italian wife and I could have seen Livorno. It seems
to be a very interesting and inviting place. In Rome we saw mandarin trees lining the streets but locals said they were no good for
eating but just ornamental. Sure looked healthy though. I had a photo taken in Pisa trying to hold up the wonky tower. Felt a proper
dill doing it and the photo was a flop anyway. Going back to Rome we saw what appeared to be mountains heavily covered by snow.
This was in Summer. Turns out they were mountains of marble. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for your efforts Scott!

Regional trains don't always stop everywhere, some skip sole stops and the "Regionale Veloce" are like express trains that only do some stops, hence running faster. On an RV, Florence-Pisa takes less than one hour.

This video reminded me of when we caught the train from Florence to Pisa. There was this woman at Florence who was really keen to help us get our luggage onto the train, despite being told politely that we could manage. She was literally pulling our luggage off us and would not take no for an answer. I gave in so she carried my bag onto the train and then, once on board, demanded money. My sisters, who were with me, told me not to pay her as I didn't really want her help - in the end I paid her to just go away. Did you experience any of that whilst in Italy? I have to say though that I thought the Italian railway system is better than ours in the UK - the trains were spacious and fast, oh and they were cheap too! :-)

Italian regional train tickets are not train-bound, unlike their long-distance trains, but i had wondered which ticket you bought. You could also have bought a ticket at the ticket machine or office, valid for 4 hours as well, but the 4-hours validity starts after you stamped your ticket, much more flexible.
