Its hard some days to have the energy to maintain so many plants. I just culled a heaps of plants, the ones that frustrated me and also the ones that visually didn't cut it. It was the best thing I did, I feel like I have had a burst of joy with my plants. I suffer from depression and anxiety and sometimes it all gets too much. Wish you the best and thanks for your honesty.
Definitely relate to this a lot. Plant collecting is my hobby and it usually brings me a lot of joy but sometimes I have episodes where it can just get out of hand. I by too much or I want to get rid of them all. It's definitely a delicate balancing act for me. Thank you for sharing and giving such kind words.
This is nothing brutal. I'm someone experienced with plants. I say you have done a good job. You have airy soil, good sized pots, good light and supplementary lights, good watering practice, good temperature and good pest control. Your collection is amazing. Do not expect your plants to be pefect. Those scars are more sexy! You cannot be blamed for going on business or private trips.
Hey, I just wanted to say I struggle with PTSD and Chronic Fatigue Syndome. I put all my plants on timers for the lights. It has been a life changer. It massively reduces anxiety and gives me one less thing to do that I could be focusing somewhere else. The timers were all really cheap, like 6 USD. I recommend it to everyone.
Thank you for sharing that really means a lot. Most of my lights do have built in timers or I have wall timers but after we moved to the new house we lost power a couple of times which means it messes up the timers and I just honestly haven't been motivated to reset them yet. Thanks again for the reminder I really should get it done because you are right about it helping out.
Sorry if I came off rude things will get better your plants is your peace for yourself I've learned that you can't please all people if they don't accept what you do for them what can you do step back and put you first
The time you took to record and talk and laugh about not taking care of your plants you could have gave them water and keep it moving you picked them they didn't pick you life is a life
Just like you taking your time out of your day to make a rude comment instead of making constructive criticism. We all deal with things differently and that's ok. I'm not perfect even though I wish I could be. We all fall short sometimes but what matters most is that we get up and keep trying. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Thank you for your words of encouragement and reminder to not be so critical of myself when I'm going through a hard time.

Thank you. That's what I keep working on. I've finally set my lights on timers and I've been much better at keeping up with my watering.
