      Your videos have been so helpful! Thank you so much! For visual learners, youre a life saver! I am currently doing a master's degree program in dietetics and we are on this module. I have a request, can you create a video on how to calculate transition from continuous TF to a bolus regimen? Thank you!

    How do I figure out how many feedings he needs? I’m thinking him being 65, he was active until he got sick, he lost about 45lbs. and now weighs around 118 lbs. They had him on the monitor feeding but sending him home to start Bolus feedings. Im going in for a training tomorrow but like I said, I don’t understand how they measure the stuff

    Thank you for creating this video. It is clearly explained. I'm gonna share it with my colleagues as our guide. I have some clarifications regarding continuous feeding because we calculated within 20hrs (4hrs rest at night) , not by 24hrs . Is it correct or wrong? thank you

      Glad you enjoyed the video! You can absolutely do a 20 hour infusion with 4 hours of rest. It really comes down to the preference of the clinician and the policy of the medical institution.
      As long as you’re optimizing the delivery of nutrients, it doesn’t matter if it’s 24 hours, 22 hours, 20 hours, 18 hours, etc.

    63.8 g per liter is given?

    can anyone tell me from where we find 55g /Liter?

    • @clinicalnutritionuniversity
      @clinicalnutritionuniversity  ปีที่แล้ว

      55 g/L was selected at random for this example! In practice, the manufacturer of the tube feeding formula you are using will provide you with that information.
