I think you absolutely did him justice. Fantastic what you could achieve so quickly too and as you said it is much better to have him painted up rather than sit in a box languishing for that perfect time where you have time etc and it never comes It has actually been great during this year painting up minis in my collection that have previously had similar fates of sitting in a box rather than being painted up
Came out well, and timely as I have a couple of warmaster dragons to repair and paint, Orc bow arms make ideal replacement horns. And just when I think I have enough paint you feature another bunch of great looking contrast and express colours.
Turned out really well, esp for the time u spent. I tend to waste a lot of time deciding which paints will work together so seeing your combos is always useful. Looking forward to seeing the rest of ur chaos army.
Thank you. It was thinned Contrast Warp Lighting over the white, pretty much it, I think I may have added a touch of white back in as a dot afterwards.
Fantastic work as usual with your channel ! I'll definitely acquire this beast as soon as it will be released and your video will be a great guide to tackle my future paintjob :)
Really nice work! I am a huge fan of the really old 90s dragons, particularly Egrimm van Horstman who is mounted on a two-headed dragon. This one isn't as good a sculpt IMO, but I'm still all-in on the snakey serpentine style.
Nicely done! I am not a huge fan of the sculpt - the best chaos dragon IMO is the really old Egrimm Van Horstmann one from the 90s - but you made it look great, and in a ridiculously ahort time. I'd barely have got beyond the base coat after three hours! Cool stuff.
Apologies all, and thank you @chrissteadman4614, as you can imagine very much missed in the edit. Sorted now thanks to you pointing out the time, so genuinely appreciated. I have a potty mouth when I mess up, and in 380 videos that’s the first one that’s somehow made it through my editing process. There’s actually a real Easter egg after the credits everyone, as there is after the Fortified Manor one, but thankfully it’s not a swear.

Thank you, and yes you’re right, far better to be built and panned as intended than languishing in a box.

😂 Sorry, some good paints in there though for sure.
I ended up using some horns from the Dwarf kit in some places.
That's a fine paint job for three hours. Great for getting it out on the field.
Thank you 🙂
I think he looks absolutely fantastic - brilliant job and video! Thank you!
Thank you 😊

Looks great, can’t wait to get hold of this one 👍🏻
Thank you
Epic paint job. Would have loved to see how you did that bulging green eye as it looks so realistic, and really pops.

Thank you 😊
think i need to get myself an airbrush, looks so much easier than by hand
It was a game changer for me, couldn’t imagine working without it now.
It's a masterpiece 😊😊
If you don’t look too closely 😅😂, but thank you.
oh nice, i have the same dragon primed and slapchopped on my desk, and not sure how to continue the project. this was very helpful
Thank you, hope you have fun with yours 🙂
Nice looking dragon
Thank you

I think I’m with you on this, really love the heads, not a massive fan of the wings.
So cool 🐉

👍👍
🙂
I want one and i need one
Should be along in WoC wave 2 I imagine, probably later this month.
Lets go
🙂
Looks great for the time invested. It’s a nice sculpt, but definitely wouldn’t want to traditionally highlight it!
Yeah it would be painful for sure 😂
I think you are being too harsh on yourself, he turned out fantastic and I can't fathom how it took you only 3 hours.
Thank you that’s very kind 😊
16:24 ????
Lol didn't notice
🤭
Easter egg

@@MiniatureRealms Glad to help. Thought it was the quickest way to let you know.
I appreciate A nice paint job but I don’t care for that sculpt.
It’s showing its age now. I really like the heads, but the rest I’m not so much of a fan of anymore, partly why did the Speedpaint I think.
Love your stuff dude! Crack on!
Thank you 😊
