Hear me out. Blast got an idea to create a Genjutsu because of Sonic. He thought that if he beat up Void again, he will go back to another dimension and they will not track him down so easily. So he make it appear that Void now can roam freely without a threat .
I think sonic’s vision from god would’ve had something to do with trying to land a hit on saitama, but god wanted him to land the hit and sonic realised it’s an illusion, probably just before he could’ve landed the hit
I'd find it very surprising if this is the end of Blast. No hero has has yet been killed so I really question if Blast would be the first. That being said... I'm not ruling out any possibility yet. But like I said before. It was very likely that Empty Void was gonna deal big problems for Blast in a way we have not seen before. Now we shall see how or if Blast can recover from this. Will Saitama show up or the intergalactic crew we saw before. That be sick.

Sonic and flash are not that a far considering flash have grown very significantly since ma arc bc hell and gale were both stronger after resurection and got folded by flash way easier than before and sonic was laughing the entire fight with flash as flash was going for a kill i would say that sonic rn is STRONGER than monster garou flash lost too i know it sounds crazy but way weaker flashy fist that damaged Garou and PLATINUM S sonic took like it was a strach and get back up in seconds

Also keep in mind that Blast was fighting the god-monster for 15 years. It's not unreasonable to assume that Blast wouldn't have been in simliar situations before, either in his current dimension or a different one. With that said, yea EV is a beast...
