Wel lad...i have the gear linked in the discribsion...but i think i was using my sg2 rod (80-110g...i think) and the reel is a bft heavy baitcaster...same sorta reel as the abu garcia revo beast only cheaper...i had 100lb mutli coloured braid on too 🎣👊

I make my own stingers now but i still use savage gear stringers wirh size 1 trebel hooks. The handy part of making ur own stringer rigs is you can make them what ever size u what
