It's a great #dividend payer and increases the dividends as well

Oil demand is still increasing, contrary to what some people believe

Thanks for the stock pick and the analysis. I own CNQ and Suncor for the same reasons. My one concern is that currently there is a oversupply of oil in the market place
That puts downward pressure on price per barrel and also will eventually affect stock price . China is biggest consumer of oil and their demand for oil is down significantly . What’s your thoughts on current over supply

@@dinocaggiula3886 I agree about China - they're not using much oil, but as I said in the video, maybe the stimulus will help. As far as the supply, I always look at the US inventories (www.investing.com/economic-calendar/eia-crude-oil-inventories-75) and until the last report, they have been coming down since end of June. The price of oil has been going upwards, so that's what matters.

Could you do a CPI chat , do the months add to a yearly total . thanks T Grant Macdonald

Hi Grant - I don't know if that would make for an exciting video. You're concerned that when the CPI comes out and it shows the monthly change, that if you were to add up the last 12 monthly changes that they would not average to the last annual change? I don't see why they'd make that mistake on purpose, maybe to make the annual inflation seem smaller, but it's easy to catch. Not to put you off, but you can find the data and do a check, if you're concerned.
I know people are occasionally concerned about how the CPI is calculated, and that it's actually 1% higher, but the same would go for the monthly and annual.

CNQ just picked up all of Chevron's assets in Alberta for $6.5 billion (usd).

Yes, I heard. It came out after I recorded the video. I think it's a bonus.
