Sam: "This video is for taking photos of ppl who aren't models"
Starts shooting friend who looks like a model 😍
hahahaha
love that you take photos of a wide range of diverse people - being an asian guy myself makes me happy to see this
I always have had a hard time posing people and the idea of the mood board totally blew my mind. Love that advise
This is some fantastic advice. I'm about to start getting into the world of portraits and I considering the idea of comfort before getting into the shoot. I think that is such an overlooked aspect that can make or break a photo session.
Great video man, really helpful tips and the filmography was beautiful. The shots turned out amazing too, will definitely use some ideas for my next photo shoot with friends 👌👌
This is great. Thanks so much for the tips bro! Love your work!
Damn man!! Keep doing your thing! Just watched some of your videos and it's a big help so I appreciate your time spent doing these videos.. thanks again!
Hey Samuel, first of all, I appreciate all the work you put into bringing out such informative content. Thanks for that :) I recently subscribed your channel and it's really helping me in some ways. I do plan to get into modeling some time soon and with your videos, I really feel confident. Along with your photography perspective, I really like the way you share posing information, modeling tips from your eyes (being a photographer). Makes things pretty clear! Also, love the fact that you mentioned, "you break the ice before the shoot while on the way". Sounds comfortable and definitely gonna make the shoot fun and interesting! Keep up man, looking forward to more and more content from your side, but no pressure, haha! You take your time :)
Take care, Regards,
Pratik
What software were you using to make the moodboard? Looks great!
Thank you ! Looking forward some self-portrait video
This is such awesome advice, another top-notch video!
Love the video! Could we get a link to your moonboard? The photos you have on there look great. Keep up the great work!
Great info! Definitely will have to try and put these to the test next shoot I got 😁🤘
Thank you so much this was so helpful.
Great tips bro! Appreciate your content 🔥
Lots of great tips man.
Great tips!!
Hey Samuel, absolutely love your videos, thankyou.., just one thing I wanted to ask, why do you give so much head space for the pictures?
Great tips! What do you use to create your mood boards? Canva?
Great video 🙏
Useful tips cause I’m gonna have a session with a Band today!
Great tips
Do you edit the video footage individually or use any LUT's?
Hi Sam! Thanks for the video, I just have one question... What's the mood board app/website that you were using in the video?
Same question here! Dope Video sam!
If you look super closely i think it says niice.co :) the website looks cool!
*Great video dude, I'm coming back in the photography and move to landscape to portrait, landscape was borring for me!*
How do you create your moodboards?
Hey Samuel, i would like to know where you create moodboards. I´ll be glad for your answer
Kinda early so I just want to say Hi! Thank you for the tips :)
I really like the one which is 1/6 tree :D
What lens did you use?
Dude which lens did you use???
I laughed at how you keep calling them "your subject", it sounds so robotic but its true
Leica M6 and Rolex Explorer 1..this guy should go and take some photos :)
Do you have any presets we could edit with?
Hi, I've watched about 25 hours of posing videos on YT in the last few weeks, and I thought maybe you could shed some light on this. Almost everyone focuses heavily on making people feel comfortable. In fact, its so harped on, on so many videos, the question comes to mind; is it abnormal to make people feel comfortable? Like, this everyone saying this because they worked with someone who was an A-hole photographer, or is it just standard advice? I'm curious for two reasons, one, as a new photographer it'd be good to know if it may be a potential issue in the future when working with others, and two, is it because almost all models are nervous and need this kind of reassurance? It would be good to know if people I will be working with will be generally confident and knowledgeable or if I'll be expected to lead the dance, so to speak.
Thanks for your time if you read this, or if anyone else has an answer or opinion, I'd appreciate it.
Cool bro
