This is good stuff! We just became mopar owners in the last two years. 23 Durango R/T, 23 widebody charger, and just picked up a refresh 2025 ram 1500 to accompany our 23 GMC Sierra. Always look forward to your content.
Met a few Hacks that did 'engineering' for Detroit big Auto makers. They where normally tasked with cobbling together parts and modules for Cheap and quick and more cheap assembly at factory. Senior management only interest is lowest penny design to assembly by cheapest rate workers available. Truly a very different category then Wichita Aircraft design and assembly people.
Tyler, I would like to hear more about the Jeep JL Wrangler Rubicon full time transfercase to part time conversion kit you were talking about in a previous video, where can you find this kit and is it difficult for the home mechanic to install?
Took your advice about the aftermarket t-stats on the Pentastar. I installed a Gates last year because the original Mopar was showing signs of seepage. The Gates is still working properly, but if it fails, my Mopar Maximum Care lifetime service contract will certainly deny the claim. A new Mopar t-stat is on the way. Thanks for the heads up.
Interesting content especially coming from a technicians point of view 👍On the flip side I guess without these failures you would be without a job or maybe I should say have less to do. You’re telling and teaching us a lot, I like it
Good content. You said that you have done a few 4xe long blocks. What was the failure from. My 2021 with 65k miles currently needs a long block due to a rod knock failure. Changed my oil every 5k with full synthetic and a mopar filter and still failed. Not sure once they put a new motor in how to prevent it happening again in another 60k.
Please keep it coming, bought 1st Jeep in June 24-Wrangler and a Gladiator in September. Any issue with exhaust on 24 Gladiator? I have water dripping from the muffler, maybe at the seam weld just below where the pipe comes in on the front side of muffler. Gladiator has 1400 miles on it..
Great stuff Tyler. I'll be tuning in to see what fun you had during the week. Very interesting...
Keep them coming. Mopar engineers should be watching these videos.
Love the inside track on dealership problems.
Great information thanks for the video.

Very interesting and great perspective. Really appreciate your straight forward honesty. Looking forward to the next segment.

Was there any specific year for the 4XE water pump or was it from the 21 to 24 model year
Any insight on the 2024 rubicon manual clutch would be appreciated.
2 liter or 3.6 ? Which one do you think is the most dependable and reliable?
neither

Sorry to hear that, you will be regretting it as you are aware
@pablopicaro7649. lol regrets are for loosers
Can you advise on why esc recall on trx has to be done with truck at 50° ????
What do you know about battery registration for new batteries on vehicles with auto start features. Nobody seems to know about this.
✌️
Sure Hope the 'Jeep' and 'Ram' Brands survive the complete mismanagement by Stellantis.
Are these Idiots trying to turn Jeep into Land Rover?
as I have a JK it's good to know the weird
Mopar has been absolute garbage for over 10 years
Never had a problem with either one of my Jeep Rubicon’s.
