I work on iPhone, Samsung and Sony mobiles and trust me, they are all the same. Just because replaceing one particular component is difficult in an iPhone it doesn't mean that all other components are difficult. Most phones are time consuming as opposed to difficult. All these phones are very well put together . . just in different ways. It isn't a very good reason not to buy a product. there is not a mobile phone on the market which is designed for end user repair. The last phones like that where old school Nokia's and even then it was more about customising rather than repair.
Another reason why I stay away from apple products. You have to take the whole IPhone apart just to replace something as trivial as a headphone jack. (I have Samsung Galaxy but my girlfriends phone is an IPhone. my Galaxy is no where near this difficult to work on.)
your nail polish changes a lot
