Tony, I kept my word, I tried haggis today. It perhaps wasn't the right Haggis to try. I found out it was canned haggis, but tried it any way. 😊 It also lacked tatties, and neeps. So, the Haggis from the Haggis Box, and Gregg's will remain on the Edinburgh Bucket List!!😉💙🏴🇺🇸💙
We visited Edinburgh last month from Texas and we stopped by the Haggis Box twice. I tried both the traditional and vegetarian and both are equally delicious! Pete and Laura were also so friendly and helpful. Thank you for posting this. It made our trip to Edinburgh much more memorable :)
I’ll definitely be going to The Haggis Box in September. I’ll be staying in Edinburgh for a whole month! I’m compiling notes I make from all your videos. I appreciate all your work and never-fail positive attitude!
We visited Edinburgh a few weeks ago from the US and we ate at The Haggis Box! It really was lovely, and we would absolutely go again should we have the opportunity to come back
Vegetarian haggis is a great idea for me. I didn't know this option in my visits to the city but definitely I'll try it this year. Thank you for the video Tony, I'll be visiting Laura in September.
Well you convinced me to try haggis. My wife and I will be spending our anniversary in Edinburgh in less than two weeks and the Haggis Box is definitely on our list. Thank you for all your videos. We've learned so much from you.
Thank you for posting this! I’m going to be visiting Edinburgh later this year and The Haggis Box was already on my list to try. Since they’d recently moved I wasn’t quite sure where to find them, but now I do. 😊
Tried haggis on my 1st visit to Scotland in 2016 and loved it. Tastes a bit like the filling of our meat pies (I’m from Montreal, Canada). I’ll surely look for The Haggis Box on my next visit (2020🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻). Thanks again for a great video!
The single best improvement you’ve made in your recent productions is the screen time you are spending on your subjects. Assuming you shot this haggis episode in April, I was probably walking by while you were shooting. Fine work.
Also, I enjoyed haggis at every opportunity while wandering around Scotland. The regional and personal variations on the traditional recipe were, each and every one, deliciously rich and deeply flavorful. Had roast hog with haggis at Oink. Wonderful stuff.
After watching tons of your videos I felt like I knew Edinburgh like the back of my hand! It was so awesome to go to pubs and places knowing their histories. So thank you for making my Edinburgh trip that much more amazing!
Ive only recently discovered you so have been watching lots of your older uploads as well as your recent ones - all very interesting and relaxing to watch without ever becoming boring - you have the balance just right
Yes! Thank you for sharing this! We'll let Laura know that you sent us when we try her lovely haggis at the end of May when we visit! I'm so happy you shared this!
We are definitely going to try the Haggis Box next time we visit. It’s so helpful to watch your videos for new ideas when exploring Edinburgh. Thank you.
Happy Easter! Great Video. What a nice quiet spot to have haggis. For the folks in US - haggis reminds me of Thanksgiving stuffing. Try it. Will stop by Haggis box the end of May.
Hi there! I've returned today from a 4 day trip to your amazing city. I' m speechless... Edinburgh is absolutely amazing and everyone should try Haggis, it's actually very good. Thanks again for your videos, they helped a lot planning my trip. 👌🌟
They had a friend of there’s working that day for them. We told them that we heard about them from your video. She smiled and said they had heard about your youtube video. But we went back the next day to have more. Their Haggis is the best we’ve had so far. (Out of some other 4 places) Thanks again. Keep up the good work. We love your videos.
The Stone Mountain Highland Games (Georgia in the States) happens the 3rd weekend in October. There was a food vendor who had Haggis the last time I went to the Games. I will try Haggis this year! Thanks for the information, and encouragement, Tony!!💙🇺🇸🏴💙
I can also see that you really love your dog also.. or your dog loves you, lol! Anyway, this haggis is a reason for me to come over to Edinburgh asap. I miss the lovely taste of it (Y)

Today we visited the Haggis Box for our very first Haggis and we told them you sent us :-) It was delicious and the people are so lovely. We really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for showing the Haggis Box in your Videos! Actually in Germany we have something that tasts similar to Haggis. Its called "Lose Wurst" or some people even call it "Tote Oma". The taste is similar but there is much more fat in and around Lose Wurst and its only eaten with potato or Sometimes mashed potato. So thumps up for Haggis with less fat and the delicious sauce!
@@ClanBroonford I actually don't know if it is served in restaurants. It Looks a little weird and its something my grandma used to make when we were kids. We think haggis is the better option :-)
I’ll be visiting in three weeks and will definitely visit the Haggis Box. I would also appreciate some recommendations for a traditional roast with Yorkshire pudding for Sunday lunch.
We are definitely adding this to our list for our next visit! Yum! That was a wonderfully huge serving of haggis Laura popped in there. Very great about the compostable container and forks. Tony I thought you were getting that vegetarian haggis to bring home to Kirsten! 😂

I wish you did Glasgow and Inverness too because Though I have never been to Edinburgh because of your videos I feel like I have.
Thank you for your vlog. I have spent a long Canadian winter watching and getting familiar with Edinburgh and all of its delights. We will be there next month and definitely want to try haggis, although it will be the veggie/vegan version. Just curious, which sauce did you prefer of the two?
