I don’t comment enough to tell you how much your stories help me. I discovered them when I had chronic pain and nothing helped me sleep. I decided I needed to listen to meditations to sleep. They were helpful but then I discovered your channel. I have not heard the end of any of your stories ( at night anyway. Sometimes I listen to the end during the day ).

Back when I had to wear heels for work, cobblestones and I did NOT get along well, but I’m still looking forward to bedtime and this! 🙃
Oh dear-- I can relate! Never would I wear them unless for a job and distinctly recall a time on set when Tina Fey came up and laughed at me, joking that she didn't have to wear heels that day. There's a reason I now record from the comforts of my sanctuary and can romanticize walking cobblestones in buttery boots with proper heels.
@@MichellesSanctuary Torture, that’s what they are! And I’m old enough to remember having to wear pantyhose with them, which should’ve been outlawed by the Geneva Convention for crimes against womankind.

@@Penn_chill ahh, yes, pantyhose! I've also had to wear vintage ones in my former life. Can we add pencil skirts to this list? Nothing slows a fast New Yorker down quite like a skirt that doesn't give. May you only find yourself in the most comfortable of garments in this sleep story!

awww lovely, I went to the brontes museum with my class mates when I was a child, I absolutely loved it, it had one on the dresses they wore in a glass case, I remember being so happy because it was small, I only grew to 4"11 in height, and it comforted me to know they was short too, I've loved my height ever since 🤗💙💜💖
How wonderful-- diving into their work has been so inspiring for me this week as a woman and writer. There was a time I expected to stay quite small as I was the smallest for some time in my classes. It was hard for me to suddenly become taller than everyone (especially when music producers in my 20s told me that I was too tall to be a pop singer--- funny since now so many are tall). Hope you enjoy this story!
Gods greatest artistic creation is the woman. They come in all sizes shapes colors and their beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Often their true beauty is not necessarily superficial but layered into who they are. Music producers who can’t actually produce music themselves can be ignorantly judgmental because they are blind deaf and ignorant. There are many tall musician vocalists that are pop stars whatever that means.
Very pleasant story. Great imagery and cozy vibe. I was very watchful for werewolves of London with the queen but they weren’t around neither was Jack the ripper but shared a draft with Dickens, I paid. Loved the poem

It’s an homage to Warren Zevon song. The lyrics are “well I saw lon chaney walking with the queen doin the werewolves of London.” Im unsure if he meant Elizabeth or Victoria- not really sure what he really meant but it’s a catchy tune. I liked princess Di. Such a needless tragedy.

Michelle I was thinking about you when I got that clock/sleep machine. I was listening to you all these nights, and then I heard about the hatch restore clock and sleep machine it is a different kind of a clock. It is an actual clock that puts you to bed with wind down routines and it wakes you up but in a way that doesn’t alarm you. You wake up feeling so refreshed and the sleep sounds that play during the night keep you sleeping. The clock gently wakes you up not like any other clock. I was thinking of a name for it and I thought of you cause you do sleep stories. Every part of that clock is so amazing and it has different wind downs every week I think. I have had it only a few days and I have been noticing updates and different things comming on it. It is something different to look forward to every night. Even the clock when it wakes you up is so pleasant to hear. Meditate and flutes it is amazing. It has the regular traditional sounds to wake you up too like an actual alarm clock but even using those sounds it doesn’t jolt you out of be. It keeps you waking up in a gentle phase. It is freaking awesome!!

Greetings the rain sounds helped get my body ready to donate blood. The Injury that would otherwise put me out is oddly caused by rain. In another job one of the nurses used to hear similar from Arthritis patients quite often .
The rain and weather changes can be so hard-- even I have issues with flareups during the pressure changes. But, the sound of rain can get me to sleep. Good luck with the donation!

Given how absolutely diverse the Mesozoic Era was, that’s honestly a little tough to decide!
I will admit though, I am a sucker for Late Cretaceous Montana, 68-66 million years ago. It would’ve been a breathtaking place to see, and more than a few of the most iconic dinosaurs ever lived in that time and place-including T-Rex.
If there’s anywhere I could time-travel to with someone, it would be there…so long as we kept our distance from the animals.
Is there some way you can make the sounds at the end of your talking louder? I can't hear them. Like the rain in this one.
It's so tricky because it can be really loud for people who listen with headphones. I'll revisit and see what I can do!
