Very solid guide - really in depth and covers a lot of key points! One nitpick I see a TON of players do in teams: "fighting on the bridges" is a smidge misleading. It's good to stop the opponent capturing a bridge, but don't *brawl* on the bridge. If the opponent plays something like Plasma Marines to capture both bridges, it's fine to play something like an Elite Swarmer to capture one - that's a good "bridge fight". However, if they have a big dude like a Blue Golem that's about to cross over to your arena, playing minions will stop it in place, which keeps the bridge on your opponent's side, which means they're going to get a shedload of XP. This is bad - in this case it's better to let the minion walk forwards so you can fight it by your tower, squeezing a minion onto the bridge.

I should have touched more on game advice, although I'm not always the best myself :X I tend to be around rank 2 T.T I have a hard time knowing when to fight on the bridge and when to give up the xp for a larger push. I'll find myself thinking I can counter on the bridge, then suddenly get a spell shoved behind me and lose the bridge and the units T.T Even though it was just to explain things, I do wish I had played more skillfully in the practice game. I was purposely making bad choices so I could explain why they were bad. But then when It came to the audio overlay I didn't really have enough time to touch on very much :< so i thought it might have been misleading. I've still been learning allot, hopping to make it past rank 1 this season finally >.> lolol maybe once I improve more I can do a more in depth gameplay advice guide :D

Lol brand new first hour of playing bought milloween and got to rank 15 with her. Idk if thats good but shes pretty new player friebdly and imo very good. Synergize cheap spells with cheap units. I defend until enemys cards are revealed and i time a push deal 400-1200 every counter attack. Main build is aracne balls around someone like the duelist, trigger rage on hellhound things, with rage present gives me 10 flying rats. That clears and begins counter push and thats where milloweens op free spells and summom reinforce while she can defend with little support.

I've been building leaderboard decks that I don't understand trying to figure it out myself. I think allot of it has to do with: in the top ranks, you see less randomness. But in lower ranks you'll come across like mass flying, and other super random decks. Cause also if you look at like the entire solo leaderboard, how much flying is there really. And they are all playing against each other basically. So decks seem to change depending on rank
Hmmmmm. Colossus is more versatile. You can use it in many different decks. Nyrvir has to play accursed, which can also be very difficult to play. I built an accursed deck and lost 7 games in a row before i gave up XDDD But once you learn it; it does always make the leaderboards
Ooo hard choices!! Shroomama least versatile, basically needs a specific deck. Akinlep and wreckinator both really good and versatile. Wreckinator more aggro, but doesn't have to be, & is easy to use. Akinlep more control, but can be aggressive as well. But also a little harder to use since damage is poison based & it has the gong spell.

It could be milloween's spell. Forgot what its called exactly. There are a few other spells that do that. But I would guess it's milloween's unique spell
After rank 10 it no longer pairs you with bots, ever :D In solos or teamers :> & the higher your rank at the end of a season, it will start you off at a higher rank in the next season, so you skip the bot matches all together.

Cuz I can't imagine there aren't other low rank players in que >.> Makes sense though. Like rather than 50% of ppl being sad from losing, having it be vs bots in low ranks makes you feel like a champion for a bit XD
Uh oh! I'm sorry you're having problems! Are you on xbox? Xbox has been bugged recently unfortunately. The devs are trying hard to fix it! They are a small indie studio, so it does take a little extra time.

Idk if that would affect it though. I played back in beta, but then my pc died. Didn't come back until the 2.0 update X]] I haven't had too many issues with it since rejoining. But even the ones I have had I'm more forgiving of since they are a small development team who try to keep the game as free as possible. Plus I've been excited for the cross play and mobile additions, so there is bound to be lots of growing pains T.T But crashing mid game is super sad and frustrating >.< worst thing that could happen T.T

The last time I looked at the top ranked guys' decks, almost all of them had no ranged units.... How does that even work?

Solo 2v2 always match up with bot...1v1 is ok
