  • Sanding drywall is a tedious chore. To make the job go quickly, an electric sander is just the tool for the job. This particular dry wall sander is available on Amazon:
    YATTICH Drywall Sander, 750W Electric Sander with 12 Pcs Sanding discs, 7 Variable Speed 800-1750 RPM Wall Sander with Extendable Handle, LED Light, Long Dust Hose, Storage Bag and Work Glove, YT-916

    Whether you are just learning how to sand drywall for the first time or have many smooth sheetrock seams under your belt, having the right sanding tool for the job is important.
    YATTICH sent this promotional sander to us so we could assemble it and review it after giving it a trial run. Though we did not have to purchase this drywall sander, we try to fairly evaluate this and any other tool, giving both pro's and cons so, so the viewer can know what to expect if they were to purchase this product.
    It's not hard to have 200 linear feet of drywall seams even in a smaller bedroom. To sand all those by hand can take extra time to say nothing of the mess. This electric orbital sander not only makes quick work of the mudded seams, but the dust is also kept down to a minimum with the vacuum attachment. The assortment of sanding discs makes it easy to get just the right amount of work done every time.
    The most outstanding feature of this sander is the light - it has a series of LED lights surrounding the head of the sander which does a great job illuminating the work surface to make sure that no spot is overlooked!
    It's second best feature is the orbital sanding disc head which makes quick work of sanding the seams.
    The sander's biggest challenge is its weight. The head of the sander has the most weight and so when it is extended as far as it can go, you get a good arm workout. But that's the tradeoff for getting the job done quickly.

    Just got one and wanted to see your review of it. I was hoping you would indicate which speeds you used. Thanks

    • @Housebarons
      @Housebarons  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Scott,
      That would depend on the grit of sand paper. The lower the number, the rougher the sandpaper - the slower I would go so as to not remove too much material.
      Thx for watching!

    LOL 6:50 “different speed levels” and then he goes into fast forward … I need that fast forward speed myself

    Great video! What grit did you use for that?

    • @Housebarons
      @Housebarons  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I honestly don’t remember - probably a 150-180. It came with a variety pack - every grit you would need.
      Thx for watching!

    How much pressure did you put on it or did you let the weight of the machine do the work?

    • @Housebarons
      @Housebarons  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Brad,
      I let the machine do most of the work. You can change the sand paper grit to get it to take more or less material off - your choice.
      Thx for watching !
