  • A goalkeeper from the minor league must spend one billion in thirty days without telling anyone about it and without owning any valuables by end of it; and if he's successful, then he'll get thirty billion.

I've watched the ending. It doesn't end with them donating nothing. They instead spend the entire night trying to come up with a detailed account of how much they need. Just as they are about to donate, the wife suddenly thinks "Oh no! What if we have another child!" and the accounting process continues

By 1985 Richard Pryor was in like the 7th or 8th remake, and by then it was $30,000,000 in 30 days. This looks like a beat-for-beat remake of the Richard Pryor film.

This movie seems to reiterate the power of compounding interests as seen in generational wealth. And how the wealthy don't have to work as hard as the poor. It's actually difficult to lose everything quickly. Sure, over a long period of time, you can lose it all. It's not as easy as it looks.

    • @mattlane2282
      @mattlane2282 2 ปีที่แล้ว +37

The ones with money spend none... stop crying about working... I spoke to a billionaire... he would go on ebay to find something $5 cheaper. I bet you "working harder" fools don't do that... and youy argue that, you can not work to help your family later on... guess ALL inheritance should be 100% taxed eh? prevents generational wealth...
I am sure you will then come up with some random $ amount and anything under is free...
So I have a 100k home, my buddy has a 300k home, someone else has a average priced home for the area (500k real numbers btw)
      My taxes are 1300 a year buddy 6300 a year and 500k home is 15k a year...
You came up with $1million as your number.
How is ANY number fair? The more money the more expenses so... 1mill - 100k is 900k in cash... with 1300 a year in land taxs vs the person who gets the 500k home and has to pay 15k a year only gets 500k cash makes no sense...
You have no idea... many places in the world people live in 3USD a day...
You are super rich compared to them... they would say YOU have too much... and you complain others have too much... just stop. Please.

@@mattlane2282 lmao, I'm sure the dude made billions by saving $5 off everyday items. It is true that the way you spend your money is important, but that isn't why people become millionaires or billionaires.
You're just listing off random numbers of houses and taxes in your area, which has no bearing on anything. People with bigger houses have bigger property tax... so?
Also, 2 wrongs don't make a right. Everyone has their issues, the fact that you can say that some people live on $3USD a day is justification for others not having money is dumb. I'm not sure if you know this, but the banking system and just how society handles money right now is garbage, you should really look up where money REALLY comes from, its all made up nonsense. Now, we have to deal with that nonsense in the real world, which means that high inflation rates and low incomes are the norm, but it really shouldn't be.
If we were in a vacuum and people really got what they worked for, it wouldn't be a problem, but in REAL LIFE, that's just not how it works. People cheat and steal, they even do it legally, it doesn't matter. Stop licking the boots of super wealthy people, because they literally don't give a shit about you and were just born in the right circumstances to learn what they needed to succeed, or even inherited what they need. Like you said, people live off $3USD a day, it's not their choice to do so.
Anyway, the poor stay in debt and the real billionaires use that debt as collateral to make more money, it's just how it works.

I've been saying for many years now that they need to do a remake to Brewster's Millions that fits today's time and currency influx. It could be called Brewster's Billions. But the America film industry needs to do this with someone who is funny and athletic to play Brewster. I have a few comedians in mind, but it's up to those comedians to want to do this project.

This is a similar concept from an old Indian Bollywood movie the film was based on the 1902 novel Brewster's Millions by George Barr McCutcheon. Good Concept and a good moral!

Well inheritance for kids. Investments that can help me have fairly continuous stream of income for which I could use to fund libraries, schools, and facilities that will train people. That way I can help develop people with specialize skills that can help them become self-sufficient and contribute to their supporting themselves, families they may decide themselves, and their global economy.

I would buy a company listed for 1B. You don't only inherit the fortune but also to run a company from your own investment.

It takes months to years to legally own a company you buy. Unlike the movies when you said you’ll buy and then it’s yours. Thus he will lose the inheritance buy waiting for the company to be legally his.
