Cracking open a ice cold beer sat by a lake with a nice fire . Come on dude this is living the perfect life . I’m living my life vicariously through primal outdoors
I know you put a lot of hard work and effort into each of your videos. But please know, your videos are just beautiful........ You are doing such a beautiful thing!!! :)
Up until the last year, I've been mostly involved with motorcycle adventure camping. I've decided that overland adventure is my next step on my bucket list. I'm located in western Washington so there are a lot of places available to me. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
In these days of global crisis, isolation and mass uncertainty about everything, your channel and your videos are a window to freedom and hope, hope that someday things will go back to normal and people will get on with their lives. Hopefully we learn some valuable lesson from all this. Time is finite and life's precious to waste it on meaninglessness things. All the best from Chile, Pablo. Ps: I love Portland, whenever I can I travel over there, to Gresham and the Columbia valley.
The best part of overlanding by myself is that I have a date to be home. That's it. I leave with some agenda in my head, but nothing is set in stone. Go, stay, change route, whatever. it's all good. Thanks Jason.
Beautiful footage in stunning landscapes with enjoyable commentary... your videos are greatly appreciated! Hope Kia heeds the great advice. Well done and hope the pups are doing well. Thank you, Jason!
I love it when that happens...plan a multi-day trip, menu's, side trips, then something says No, stay here for awhile. The Higher Power grabs you by the...car keys. So worth it! Great video!
I think this vid captures the essence of your channel - the ability to live spontaneously. Many times an appreciation of the outdoors requires us to take a longer look. I am so glad that you are in a position to do that and bring us along. Separately, the disc - cooking that you are doing originates from the region of Mexico that my wife is from. They take an old harrow and weld the center hole closed and use it like a wok over charcoal. Fajitas is an obvious choice, but it is very versatile!
There is not much to not like about your videos, Jason. That is the life I long for, being able to travel and camp wherever the road takes you. Thanks for sharing.
I watch many outdoor and overlanding channels. My friend you have the best production and content in my opinion. Good dialogue, beautiful cinematography, and relaxing music to match.
Good on you lifting those two in and out. Same here with our 11 year old Toller. All of them would break their legs before being left out of anything. Thanks for all the great videos.
What a great place to spend a few days! I just got back from a fishing trip to British Columbia that didn't pan out as well as I hoped, fishing wise, but the scenery and wildlife were worth it alone. Watched a black bear come out of the woods across the river from me in the late afternoon heat and lay down in the river for about 5 minutes before getting up, shaking off, and going on his way. I wish I had your skills with a camera to capture the moment for others but at least I have the memory.
I enjoy that you are so easy and laid back. Not all cocky and arrogant like so many doing video's these days. Conduct and actions speak for themselves. HAPPY TRAILS!
A great decision on your part. Time to stop and enjoy the moment. Pat the dogs. Our golden just turned 17 weeks old. What a ball of fire. Take care, Al
Fantastic. I’m glad you spoke up about the beer. The only thing I was thinking was “is he going to mention this beer and the deafening absence of pendalton? “.
My dad, sister and I did a southern utah trip over labor day weekend. We camped one night on BLM outside Zion and it was absolutely gorgeous. Not even packed for it being a major holiday. We packed up that morning and headed out for east nevada BLM ended up doing a really hard push to Alamo Nevada and camping for the night. But in retrospect we wish we would have stayed a second night at the first campsite in utah. We were so wore out by the time we got home. Lesson learned, its not about just covering ground-even though we saw a ton of country and some extremely remote places.
Definitely in favor with the staying at one place for a bit. I’m sure there’s plenty to see around the base camp you’ve set up. A thank you from me also for sharing your trips!
Such an awesome spot. I did very near the exact same thing....in the same spot lol. The unexpected beauty of those two lakes kept me there longer than I had planned.
I must say that some slow motion fly casting into that lake would be exactly what I would've been doing. Absolutely beautiful place you got to camp in and the company you got is perfect too. Get better Wheeler and Daisy looks cute with short hair. LOL
All I could think as you swung that hunk of wood was oh I hope you don't hurt your shoulder. I have and boy it that painful. But I am sure you are in great shape and used to it. Be safe as always.
BREATHTAKING COLORS SCENERY VIEWS & VIDEO ! THE LAKE WAS LIKE A MIRROR ! PERFECT ! SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO TAKE IT IN & RELAX ! BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! GOD BLESS YOU ALL ALWAYS ! ENJOYED VERY MUCH ! THANK YOU !
Wow! Wherever you were with the lake I'm amazed as to how high the water still is. Not sure when you were there but this is excellent for Oregon's water supply. Beautiful country.
You can skip a lot of things in life but this is about as good as nature can do on a trip with no boundaries, if this is not what life is about i do not know how you where brought up and look at life this is paradise in spades.
Fantastic video Jason. I alway enjoy watching your content and this video in particular was so relaxing and peaceful. Thanks for continuing to make inspiring videos with amazing scenery and camping locations!
Beautiful views! You do such a great job of bringing these experiences to us through your cameras and drone (I’m a fan of good drone footage)...and talent and... It’s just good stuff man! Thank you!
It doesn't surprise me you decided to stay. The first time I was there was about 40 years ago, and I was absolutely mesmerized by the beauty. As bad as the road is now, it was even worse then. I remember wondering if I would ever make it back out. There's something magical about those two lakes. Perhaps one of these days our paths will cross there. Cheers.
Super awesome work Jason thanks for sharing. Even though I am in Oregon now and can experience it all for myself I still love watching your adventures.
Beautiful...... I went to Oregon last week and came back to NY.. I decided to move to Oregon when I traveled over there..so i will move to Oregon on Dec..... Oregon is so beautiful and very nature environment .... Ur video reminds me of last week my road trip in Oregon.... Thank you for nice video..........

Really enjoying your channel. Love Daisy and Wheeler...and especially how you treat them! One thing missing though....a canoe and fishing rod on that lake! 😊

Beautiful spot I wish we have something like this in Hawaii to relax to. Enjoy ur trips.

I'd say this video went exactly as it was supposed to go.....perfect!! A gorgeous lakeside camp with your two dogs, I wouldn't be rushing off either.

This is what overlanding is all about. Its not about where you go, its about how you get there. Sometimes that means soaking in places you get too.
Glad you stayed- the dogs like hangin there too!
Great call, staying was such a wonderful move, really enjoy the beauty you capture in your videos, cheers and safe travels friend.
