I love your design! I appreciate the overview of your putting the mica powder into the epoxy! It gave a better understanding of just how much is needed! Can't wait to watch the rest of your videos!
Love color shift glitters on a black base! Love the micas mixed in on the base! Adds extra shimmer and not just black. Love!! My measuring sucks too 🙈 Love your nails!
How do you do the stainless steel strip at the top of the cup? People keep saying they sand, but don't say how. I can hold my own when sanding, but not when it comes to sanding through multiple layers of epoxy. So, Ive just been taping off the SS strip. Then I saw a lady sanding her rims using a Dremel yesterday and making that strip...it all finally made sense. We have a dremel set, but we dont have whatever dremel bit she was using. Ive left a msg and Im just waiting on a response. If you use a Dremel to create that SS strip, what is the name, number, size (not sure how each bit is referred to yet) of that specific bit? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! **I guess I should've let you know Ive only been trying to do the cups for a little less than a month so again, any help, tips or tricks when it comes to that SS strip would be amazing and appreciated!
I do not use a Dremel. I just use 180 grit sandpaper and hold the cup at a small angle and sand it, nothing too fancy really. Then go over it with 220 to smooth it out.
@@CNMDesigns Oh wow, thats truly impressive! I dont think I've got the strength to do that. I guess I will continue taping it off until I can get better with the epoxy and not putting it on so thick, which in turn will help with the amount of sanding needed. Thank you so much for responding!
The .75” tape is such a good idea! Beautiful tumbler!
