As soon as I saw Podz guarding him in the second half I already knew he was gonna try to prove a point and to no one surprise he ended up making a fool of himself chucking shots and missing them, he was so frustrated he ended up getting an offensive foul call by pushing off because he couldn’t cook Podz lol. This is the difference between him and Steph. He started out like this too but didn't let it get to his head and develop an attitude. Steph just kept at it and at it until he got better. I think the problem was many people were saying he was going to be the next Steph and while playing on the Warriors with him how could someone not let that go to their head. And eventually he became lazy and careless riding on his prevoius success. I think being on the Wizards isn't helping now because he thought he was going to be the best player but looking at the current record might help motivate him to keep him in check.

Coach, he is supposed to be because his teammates are competing to be the number one man on the team instead of desiring and focusing on winning games.
Jordan Poole wants to win games and championships, and he knows how to do it!
His teammaates and the coach know he knows how to win, but they don't want to acknowledge it, and they are too proud to let Poole help them. So his hands are tied.
Poole is focusing on helping those new teammates to develop who want to accept his knowledge of how to develop their NBA identity and how to win games. When he the Wizards team, coach, and owner are ready to win games and championships instead of accepting to be losers then they will allow Jordan Poole to be the point guard and leader on the floor instead letting Tyus Jones try to block Poole, then they will start winning games.
Poole will just keep working hard on his game and be ready for whatever and wherever his destiny leads him!
Poole is a pioneer and a new trend sett in the new way the NBA is playing ball now. The Tmberwolves, Thunder, and Kings were all on the bottom last season and for the last seven years. Now. They are on top. They had to build a new team using new ways of playing the game. Those guys watched Jordan Poole like a hawk in 2021-2023 . Now they are playing all his moves and ball handling skills, and shooting three's. As long as the Warriors keep playing 80s and 90s style of playing ball, they will stay in thec#11Seed position. See how Coach Popovich is waiting patiently for Wembanyama to develop and mature. He knows Weby is the most talented and gifted player on the team for this new era. He will place the other team players in position to complement Wemby. No matter how much the other teammates try to compete with Wenby and his position , Wemby is the man!
And so it is with Poole. No matter where he is the team will not succeed until they accept the full participation of the talents and gifts of Jordan Poole because nobody else on the team can do what he does to cause the team to win games!

@hamedia6018 he's had 22 assists and 1 turnover in his last 2 games. The guy is literally the reason the 2nd unit is so dominant. Replacing Poole with a pass first PG who doesn't turn the ball over is exactly what the warriors need. And he may not be big enough to have extremely efficient defense, but he's definitely good enough to cover a pg and get the team organized on defense. He takes it seriously and tries. It's a MASSIVE upgrade over Poole. Once gp2 and Green are back his minutes will hopefully float around the 25mpg range. As long as they don't over utilize him and overplay him he'll stay healthy.

Now, look at it, even with the tough stretch, CP3 helped the Dubs's bench to be the No. 1 productive bench in the NBA this season. The league is just too stacked for Poole's game. He managed to strive under Steph and we all saw what he is after leaving Steph.
Even Steph was frustrated with Poole's decision making and hero ball moments.
Sidenote: Please don't bring back Poole to the Warriors. That contract is a trap and would have to give up many pieces and I like the Warriors young core now.

Disagree. He got the fat contract and he should just concentrate on balling and moved on. Draymond apologized but Poole held it too deeply. Also, did you not watch Poole's regular season and play-off game? He is the primary the reason why the Warrior is in the predicament the last season. He is constantly chucking up shots and bricking for the sake of shooting. Don't forget all the turnovers in crunch time and he is a liability in defense. Glad he is gone and we have better rookies and young core of Moody and Kuminga taking up the minutes and CP3 is a good replacement for Poole's by leading the young core and second unit.
Don't forget Poole is very reluctant to play with the 2nd unit because he alway feel he is in the same tier as the Vets. Also, I don't like Draymond antics but neither do I like Poole's hero-ball and ego.

Punch or no punch it was clear that Poole hadn’t been developing his skills and counters. He was using the same moves he did the championship year. You can’t do that when you are top 3 on the scouting report now. You have to be a step ahead of the competition. Also as great as his highlight deep shots were that championship year, he wasn’t that efficient , even then. He just got worse the next year.

Some of those things are happening because Steve Kerr is giving certain players more minutes. I’m not going to give him CP3 sole credit for Kuminga and Jackson-Davis playing well. I could tell you posted this on the heels of the Warriors beating the wizards last night. Jordan had a poor shooting night, but still led his team in scoring.
