- After much testing of the Flatgekko by Procrawler using the Axial AR45 straight axles and the TRX4 Portal axles I've made a decision based on what I think is best for my Low CG Belly Dragger. Either way this is an incredible RC Rock Crawler, watch the video for more.

always good to hear others views to be able to make the best choice for myself. thank you for the insight. good stuff as always. 👍
Thanks dude much appreciated 🙏
Thank you for your insight over the axles... your rig is awesome I can't wait see your Phoenix build! Great video 👍😃
Cheers buddy much appreciated 🤟
Nice build! Subscribed. 👍✌️
Cheers buddy 👍👍
Interesting stuff! I certainly think whatever rig I go for next, I'll go for one with portal axles for more clearance!
Deffo, imo portals are way to go
You'll eventually be looking to convert them to solid axles if you're anything like me. Portals are nice for driving straight over things but solid axles are more fun a challenge
@@TrillMurray been there done that buddy, I put straight axles on it for a week and took them off and went back to portals much better performance
@@RCAdventurers Agreed. Portals are much better for inexperienced or unskilled drivers. I think they can certainly be an advantage in some types of rocky terrain too.
@@TrillMurray oh I’m very skilled 😎 I’m a Procrawler team driver too lol I just don’t like straight axles 😎
Awesome truck definitely wicked very nice build and very capable
Thanks bro appreciate it ! 🙏
cool vid! big like!!👍👍👍
Yup!! Portals offer up a lot. Vs4!? Can ya make a video with it before any upgrades are done? Excellent video mate!
Yeah sure buddy, I’ll do a few stock vids and then after upgrades
@@RCAdventurers Sounds awesome. I've watched a lot of videos, and I've always been most curious about that vs4
@@rcpayne6416 me too and at this price point it’s difficult to say no 🧐
@@RCAdventurers No kidding huh, with the dig, the selectable overdrive, nice
@@rcpayne6416 yeah deffo, I won’t run the dig tho imo it’s pointless on a trail truck
Amazing,, nice friends 😂
Thank you 👍
I was going to try straight axles on my v1. The capra axles currently using are very good but the width can be a problem on some narrow comp gates even with the procrawler wheels . How wide is your current set up?
Current width is around 200mm dude but Im also running 10mm brass hex spacers on each side
may i ask you what body and color this is…best wishes from germany, chris
Greetings back buddy, it’s a Samurai C body from Amain Hobbies
@@RCAdventurers thanks, found it a few minutes ago at another flat gecko video 👍
@@christianmoser3160 no problem ! Colour is copper from Tamiya
Go front ar45s and trx4 rear 👊🏽😈
Unfortunately that doesn’t work dude
Yo dude it does I built a ccw reaper with ar45s front and trx4 front rear portal with a 2low trans 4ws 🤷🏽♂️👊🏽😈 guess u not a builder 😂🤣
@@rezzrollinrc of course I am … do you think my gekko built itself 😝 there are many reasons not to go that setup but it would take all day to write it 😂
@@rezzrollinrc ps, we all have our own opinions, thats part of the hobby lol
Why it was a suggestion rc bro and I knw put ur krawler together and straight front and rear portal one of tha best builds u can do bro in my opinion yes got to luv this hobby 👊🏽😈 keep on keeping on ✊🏽
