Hey Nick I enjoy your videos, brings back a lot of memories. If you only use J channel above your garage doors it will eventually rot your 2x6. Ask me how I know. Use a L flashing drip edge first then install your J and no need to caulk between them. Lowes keeps it in stock. Good luck.

Morning dudes. On your garage approachs you're supposed to pour a concrete slab approach that dives into the ground. So you do not chip off the edge of your garage slab. After that then you dump gravel, about foot or two up your approach slab where it meets the ground.
And on your landing siding. Do not forget your blocks to attach hand railing. So you have something to secure/ screw your hand rails to.
Hi,why not build a storm roof over the stairwell,makes life a lot easier and not slippery.

My folks have a place in s utah. We are there all the time. Keep our trailer there. steph, and I are nearing retirement, and I'm looking to move back home, so maybe beaver area. Not sure yet. Have 2 kids, Claire 8 Cole 5, still working for the COH, but almost done. We homeschool, grow our own food, hunt and fish like crazy, and are looking for land with water perpetually.
