    Ive had mine for 2 weeks now using it for work commute 8 miles round trip 5 days a week. And im 400 lbs 6'1. My route to work is all flat level and I've hit 27mph a few times when the battery is warmed up past 100 degrees. mostly 23-25 mph on average. Took the scooter in the rain 3 times so far (I live in seattle) and haven't slipped yet but the mud flaps don't work too well.

    I was tossing and the idea of a few scooters above $2k because they were there few that supported my weight. This exceeds my weight and cuts those prices significantly... Glad I heard about it. 🤔

      How is it holding up?

    Mark a centerline down the upper stem with a paint pen for perfect bat alignment every time👍

    Perfect video. I bought mine on May the 21st. I wished I had seen this video first but I have no regrets so far. Just a minor issue with the right handle bar not coming down. Once I took it for its first ride, I got up the next day, tried the right bar and it was fine. Moves pretty good. A great value for the money. How do you unlock to increase the speed? I never knew of this.

    Im a heavy guy 360lbs. I work on big commercial construction sites which most of the time require us to park 2-3 blocks away from the site. The morning walks are fine but after an 8-10 hour shift and in the summer Vegas heat, the after work walk back to the car sucks! I need something like this that can handle my weight but doesn’t cost $1,500+ for some of the dual motor stuff out there. Some of the downfalls mentioned will not affect me as I won’t be using this to commute for long distances at all. I’m really considering this unless I can find something even more cost effective. 😅

    Nice video. I’m interested in this scooter but am debating between this and the isnwheel s10 max.
    Have you guys reviewed that scooter.

    I thought it’s already unlock. I have this scooter and mine reach 28mph and I’m 186 pound. The shocks are on the stiff side but they do work specially when jumping from the sidewalks back to the road.

    How do you unlock this scooter to reach the 28mph

    • @donl3130
      @donl3130 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There's no unlocking, you just put it on turbo.
      Unless there are different versions, for markets where the max speed is 15 mph?
      I just had to press a button on the dashboard to go from eco, to standard and finally to turbo. 9mph, 18mph and 28 mph respectively.

    Since the stem locks when folded down could you leave the handles in place and tilt the scooter onto the front wheel and roll it instead of carrying it?

    My ideal commuter would be an off-road case of steel stress components bolted to aluminium frame with as many hallowed parts as it can without sacrificing toughness, a sacrificial bottom plate with shock absorbing material near the structure components, that has a front 500w mottor that can do the equivalent of 1000w motor regeneration, and a 30mph efficiency focused 1000w motor in the back, that can do about half (500w) of regeneration, but it is focused on 30mph energy efficiency, in combination you can easily climb a 25 degrees angle with an 250 pound (114kg) person riding off-road. (adjustable suspension for different riders is a must, and it should be an easy task with a flat semi circle key, to adjust if you have gear and luggage, or if you just have a quick joyride without stuff.
    and a 50 mile range in normal real life driving and a max speed of 44mph (70Km/h) in power mode.

    Is the suspension adjustable? As you mentioned it's quite stiff out of the box, but I've had e scooters that can be softened up bit

    Nice I'm thinking to purchase myself the Circooter raptor off road scooter. Seems more durable and much more better performance than the mate. The mate looks like for kids or i I guess is just me. If u guys get hold of the raptor or raptor pro i love to see a review cuz I haven't found much video reviews for it. Thanks guys best wishes.

    Hey, found the channel from Now You Know. I’m glad you’re doing this! So many brands, so many models, so many specs, so many design variations!!!
    It’s decision paralysis due to overwhelming options.
    Would you please, for the good of all mankind, please create a wiki listing all the models you’ve reviewed?
    Would you please invite all the other TH-cam e-bike/board/scooter/microcar reviewer to do the same?
    Might we please invite the manufacturers to manage the wiki pages for their products?
    Might those wiki pages include specs (in consistent units), Repair part numbers, links to repair videos, social pages w/ things like end-user mods and a “ForSale” page?
    Wanna monetize it? Affiliate links, for example? Knock yourself out. Make huge donations to prioritize pedestrian and bike rider safety.
    Please, for the good of all mankind. We only need one that wiki people use. It would make e-vehicle ownership experience way mor better er.
    Thank you.

    The iscooter ix3 is almost exactly the same as this, and $100 cheaper lol

    • @LMG3D3DPrintingEnthusiast
      @LMG3D3DPrintingEnthusiast ปีที่แล้ว +2

      actually its about 127 cheaper as they have a 3% off coupon code. But IX3 has some differences. It has a 10AH battery vs the Mates 12.5AH battery. And the IX3 has air filled tires vs the mates solid tires. The mate has a dedicated App where the IX3 uses a generic APP. Everything else is the same though.

      @@LMG3D3DPrintingEnthusiastwhich do you think is better ?? Im torn bewtween those 2. Air vs solid tires basically. I like what air offers as rideability, but heard all the horror stories of constabt flats on air tires for scooters. Dnt wanna break the bank on tires and labor, so leaning towards solid.
