Technology brought inequality. Like made poor people to suffer from overweight problem. While rich people can pay for the gym and work their way out of obesity. Our Middleage peasant ancestors would be truly appalled of such inequality.
Jesus says.. “When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will realize that you are the children of the living Father. But if you do not come to know yourselves, then you exist in poverty, and you are poverty.” The Gospel of St. Thomas. Religion is knowing our inner self. It is not contained in things outside of us. For the kingdom of God is within us.
I'm sorry, this is fancy word salad. How do centuries old dogmas impact current technological advances-in any field? Technology is man made, for the purpose of making our physical lives easier, Religion should be kept out of technology, just as politics should!
They are talking keep out Science and Religious proceendings. Consequencies about this video they are talking for nothing. Blah Blah rambling . Senseless.
Imperative topic. When man seeks more than a pay cheque, entertainment, and selfish desires in general, therefore such a man acknowledging something spiritual and repenting from the superficial world renouncing to inquire that inner world that's been forgotten, such virtues of true value, even recognizing his lot in all of this phenomena, is what a materialists would call religous, for these such persons are entirely without and exterior. Basically, being true to heart, valuing wisdom over money, seeking true knowledge as opposed to worldly information, being a real man in general, a man of truth and justice, a man of conviction, living and abiding by natural order, acknowleding God, is somehow today "religious". I would have to ask what is the contrary way of life to this? Anybody? Hinduism acknowledged what all of this 'happening' is that we feel, experience, act out, and are subject to; the three gunas. This sums it all up, the 3 gunas. Too, there's the laws; for nobody escapes the laws. It takes a long time for man to really find himsel for his mind plays many games on him unwittingly. What bothers me, as i've been a dedicated researcher for over a decade now, are the amount of injustices and dark incurrences that the children had to suffer because of grown adults, who think they know what is what, who is who, and how the world works all the while they known nothing about themselves. When has nature, balance, and life itself, ever been protected, and at the core level, so all men have a right to their individuality - never. Since being born our parents indoctrinate us, then school, government and everynody around us influences us and we too are influential. Technology is some powerful stuff. You have modern persons like simon hibbs here who just loves to extol technology and pseudo science, but he has no care in the world what also is entailed. I mentioned to him recently about "15 g and how they'll use it to invade peoples minds so controlling them", and simon replies to me about some tin foil hat. Technology and knowledge is very powerful. And the men today aren't men.
There’s truth to that for sure. The only legacy of mine that really matters is my children, their quality of life, and quality as people. Everything else is in service to that.

If Tech is considered a religion, then it is the first TRUE religion since its effects are real and its Gods are possible and probable.

But if you do not come to know yourselves, then you exist in poverty, and you are poverty.”

Tech is still a tool, which is consuming humans, and when AI takes over - watch out.

Epstein is a humanist chaplain, so he’s not religious.
Bravo 🎉 perfect analogy 💡
If we created gods, then we have them now. Greg wouldn't say tech doesn't exist because we created it.
