- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- Olive oil
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup sliced capsicum (bell peppers)
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
Instructions
1. *Prepare the Dough:*
- In a large bowl, combine warm water and sugar.
- Sprinkle the yeast over the water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
- Gradually add the remaining 2 cups of flour and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size.
2. *Prepare the Garlic Oil:*
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil with minced garlic. Set aside.
3. *Shape the Dough:*
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Punch down the risen dough and transfer it to a floured surface.
- Stretch the dough with your hands to form a pizza base. You can make it as thick or thin as you like.
4. *Assemble the Pizza:*
- Place the stretched dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Brush the surface of the dough with the garlic oil mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
- Spread the pizza sauce over the cheese.
- Add the toppings: sliced black olives, capsicum, and onions.
5. *Bake:*
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
6. *Serve:*
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
