I love Wetline Extreme gel but you need a good moisturizer under that. After 3 days my scalp is dry. But Kinky Curly Custard is still Bae it just keep my hair so nice and moisturized. Your hair came out beautiful 😊

I tried this gel after seeing it on Kimberly Cherrells channel and I used it w the coco creme leave in from carols daughter and i loved the definition when it was wet and once it dried the first day but then the second day i seen a LOT of flakes it was gross and had to immediately wash it out. i like the gels hold but the product by itself doesnt do it for me so i think ima try it w miss jessies pillow soft curls and see the results

Alicia Rollins thank you 💕 I would use a deep conditioner and even a treatment like acv rinse or olaplex. If your curls are poppin then yes but if not I would suggest doing another style even where you could incorporate perm rods

I just tried that gel not too long ago for the first time because a couple of months ago I saw Willonwhim use it, but that's not the reason i got it. i wanted to do a wash n go but I have extreme shrinkage for one, I'm 4c, have thick hair, have short hair, high porosity, and my head shape makes things not look right like its wide at the top and it narrows at the back so certain looks dont look right I just want somebody who has the same hair characteristics as me so I can stop changing videos of naturals who dont have hair like mine. Not being negative to u at all. I just don’t understand this wetline extreme bandwagon. It isn’t like the ingredients are much different than eco style gel but folks are acting like it is better for naturals. I did research in the ingredients and the new way eco is handling their products as well and the results don’t show that either gel is too different or better. The main things being complained about during the eco strike is in the wetline so could someone please do a video on why it is so much better? I thought for a moment that folks were hating eco bc eco never sponsored a video so let’s jump off the eco bandwagon till they use some other marketing channels but that wasn’t it bc I haven’t seen wetline sponsor anyone either. I feel like the ban of “dangerous natural hair products” was worthless bc folks have seemed to have given up on the inferior results from all natural products. I personally never gave up on those types of dangerous products bc I simply could not afford to be all natural and diy all the time but I looked to youtubers to see if the totally natural/less unnecessary ingredients could be achieved more affordably and I am seeing that it has almost completely lost its steam. Can u please explain the part of your video where you discussed the ingredients briefly? And maybe explain why you feel it is better than eco or whatever else gel? Not trying to cause any problems bc I love ur work and ur journey is inspirational. I am just truly looking for some answers in the direction I am seeing my favorites heading in

Simply put, the eco styler I use and most of Eco Stylers contain: WATER (AQUA), carbomer, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, PVP, glycerin, triethanolamine, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, polysorbate 20, Tetrasodium Edta, Olive Oil, fragrance, Blue #1, Yellow #11 Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate is a big ingredient listed that's a formaldehyde releaser. Wetline ingredients are: Ingredients: Water, Triethanolamine, Carbomer, Pure Acrylic Polymer, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Fragrance, Propylene Glycol, Edta, D&C Violet 2 The ingredients are ok, not the best but looking at them they're from a #1to #5 rating and no formaldehyde releasers. Also eco just irritated some peoples scalps.

Kim W yes I totally understand. Fragrance is also up in the air too. Eco and wetline don’t have the best ingredients. They have a mix of ok ingredients and good ingredients. I think if you use mostly good ingredients then you’re ok ☺️ this and olaplex are the two products that have ingredients that are the best but I use in moderation

Your curls look amazing! Wetline X is my favorite gel. Every now and then I'll try something new but it is never comes close to wetline. How many days did you get out of the gel? Or shall I say, do you think you will?

Kim W yes I totally understand. Fragrance is also up in the air too. Eco and wetline don’t have the best ingredients. They have a mix of ok ingredients and good ingredients. I think if you use mostly good ingredients then you’re ok ☺️ this and olaplex are the two products that have ingredients that are the best but I use in moderation
JeanetteJBeauty ok. So my understanding and research says that the preservative in Eco is replaced in Wetline by 2 preservatives with a little tiny but higher risk per Ewg.org.

Your curls look amazing! Wetline X is my favorite gel. Every now and then I'll try something new but it is never comes close to wetline. How many days did you get out of the gel? Or shall I say, do you think you will?

You're just about as bad as me then....when I find something that works for my hair, I've been known to go a little crazy 😊, but I justify it by the fact that these companies keep changing up formulas on the regular, and then the new reformulate product doesn't work the same.😒I know the ingredients on this one isn't all that great, but the results are usually always on point and a great price!
