Thanks! I thought it was just my hair not liking Wetline for wash and gos anymore. Now I realize that I've been using the new Wetline when I was used to the OG. I ended up switching back to Ecco w/Argan Oil. Love your vids!
When you introduced me to the wetline texture Id combo I actually was able to drop all gels. That texture I’d has so much hold for me that I have to scrunch that. Maybe heavy handed. I actually get the best results from solo texture I’d when I do it from dry. Idk texture id flipped everything I thought I knew about natural hair and I’ve been at this for 20 years

I am always entertained AND educated by your videos. I have tried both, my favorite is the new Wetline because I don’t like a hard hold or a crunch. Therefore I gave the original Wetline to my daughter who doesn’t mind the crunch.
I loved Wetline original formula too! I do not like the new formula and have since discovered Eco Krystal and I LOVE that gel.
Thanks so much for introducing me to the wetline extreme. I do love it.. I never got to use the original one, I can't find it anywhere... But the new one does great it is a light hold. When I pair it with a foam or moose, I get a stronger hold. You should try it.
I saw a video of your new wet line and had to get it! I am new to my curly journey and had trouble finding a good hold and crunch and this was amazing!

For those like me who needed to find the original, I googled and House of Beauty has the original big tub (not the Macro) for a decent price ~$6 and they have discount codes for 10 or 15% off. Shipping a bit high, but hey, I need to try the original cause I've only known the new 'blue lid' Xtreme gel, no Wetline 😑...and I think it was breaking my hair off so I had to stop using it. Thanks for this video Rayna, made me go searching for the OG again 😁

@@jaleesaw thanks! I noticed an issue when Igot my shipping email the day after I ordered. I emailed them right away, and they replied within a couple of hours with an explanation. I checked the tracking info again a few hours later, like they suggested, and the issue was cleared up. I was definitely on edge for a minute. My order is expected to arrive in the next 3 days. Thanks for the heads up, I read some reviews before I ordered and most were positive but that shipping notification threw up my red flags.
Update: I just received my order from House of Beauty World and although their website showed the original Wetline Xtreme gel, I received the Xtreme gel with the blue lid. Very disappointed! Just contacted them about a Return & Refund 😤
First off, love the results!! I remember you used to use coconut water leave in with the original wet line which gave you less crunch and fantastic results. And so I started using that leave in as well and I love it. Have you considered going back to that combo? Secondly, girl I just love ya 😘. You’re such a blessing

HIII!! I LOVE YOUR HAIR VIDEOS SO MUCH!! I am a huge wet line gel fan!! they have three now, the one with the navy blue top, the green gel, and the blue gel. I use the blue gel and it gives me the same outcome that i got from the original wet line. You should DEFINITELY try it!!
I love the old version better...the new version flakes for me...I bought 5 of the 77oz last year and I'm happy I did
The newer wetline has more glycerine,. It has weight but my hair puffs a lot more because its dries slow af

This is all my beauty supply store in my area carry in the bug size I thought I had bought the wrong one I recently started using it o my granddaughter hair is is mixed race and it works so good in her hair
I just saw that big container of the original in the hair store and I bought it like 2 wks ago....I was soo happy lol!
I personally don't have any issues with the blue lid wetline. It works great on my hair and I personally don't like the crunchy feeling on my hair and the newer version doesn't leave my hair crunchy. For me it's the best gel I used 🤷♀️. I haven't tried the original one

Hey! Have you ever tried a hair serum under wet line? I love the og wet line, but I need more slip!
If you're a type 4 or have tangles or dryness issue.. you may want to do a leave in.
I love her hair ,but my 4C can't get away with all the tricks hers can 😔
