Casey starts the song with his vibrating voice Neal takes you to another level with his doubled voice track and finally Mr portnoy arrives and sings that bridge with his special voice

Excellent song! These guys are all so prolific, even their Pop stuff is well crafted. I can hear each distinct voice within this piece....Neal's love of sus 4th resolutions, Caseys amazing delivery, Mike's subtle drumming spiced up by his amazing and tasteful accents and cymbal work, LaRue's driving pulse, and Steve's incredible tone and melodic ideas in his solos...the great vocal interaction with Casey, Mike, and Neal..and lastly, big props to Christian Rios for his amazing work on this video!!! Bravo all around!

What amazes me is how the collective members of the band can keep on releasing music of such a high calibre. Whether it is Neals solo stuff, everything else Portnoy is part of and especially Flying Colors. Great song. Can't wait for the album.

Cheery and moving. You can hear it's an ode to so many beautiful songs these musicians love. Although, it retains a unique and unbelievable positive essence. Think of that scene in Ratatouille where the food critic tastes the dish and is suddenly taken back to his happiest childhood memory. It's just like that but in pop rock form.

Although 'vanity fair' is kinda reference to 'the ways of a fool' and 'shortcut to salvation' ideas overall, I do think it has a distinctive musical theme. But, well, it is just me and my imho
