- Today I attempt a hardcore nuzlocke of pokemon Eternal X INSANITY MODE
NUZLOCKE RULES:
Basic Rules:
-Once a Pokémon faints it is considered dead and cannot be used anymore.
-You can only catch your first encounter in every area.
-You must nickname every Pokémon.
-Once you white out the run is over.
Hardcore Rules:
-You cannot use items in battle. Held items are allowed.
-You have to change the Battle Style to "Set".
-Documentation is allowed for this challenge
-No Stat Boosting Moves Are Allowed
-Encore and Substitute Are Banned

Loved Inclement Emerald and been wanting to try Buffel’s other stuff as well as gen 6 romhacks in general. This looked wild I’m gonna have to run it up

@@Drxxyt If you do decide to do Inclement Emerald, there is one thing I should mention. If you get an Eevee, it completely trivializes the whole game because of the devolving and re-evolving allowing all eeveelutions to get the others' moves. For instance, Jolteon with the buffed base 95 power Freeze-Dry and Umbreon with Strength Sap. Don't know if you want to restrict it or abuse it, just thought I'd tell you and let you make the decision

I’ve played this game (not a nuzlocke) and really enjoyed the challenge. What was really fun was working out some kinda bs strats for e4. I ended up using an air balloon greninja on Malva, charizard was integral to seibold and xerneus swept drasna

I'm nuzlocking the Regular version of EXWY and it's plenty stressful enough. Can't imagine needing to do it with triples, rotations and legendary spam added to the mix. Sick run dude!

I accidentally hardcore nuzlocked it, lost 2 mons the entire run, and I never successfully completed another hc nuzzlocke. I can't really see what's difficult in it. Maybe I had good encounters, I imagine the sheer amount of mons tou can get in this game makes every run very different.

@@You-hp3rl accidently=without initial intention or thinking because my previous pokemon game was a gen 4 nuzlocke (which I failed and gave up on, I'm generally not an amazing nuzlocker) and when i got to the desert where team flare base is I remembered I wasn't actually planning to nuzlocke it but by that time I made up my mind to continue.

The one thing I will say is during your commentary in videos like this, you come off as pretty monotone and at some points bored. Drampa is hard if you make it difficult by not having a choice specs mon with a dragon or fairy move. I swept her in 7 turns with specs Hydreigon. Really hard battle

get 2 low lvl pokemon
send 1st low lvl one out
let it die
send second one and use revive on first one

Looking at the documentation, I'm genuinely curious how you did your encounter routing. For example, you *cannot* guarantee the genie trio in Pokemon Village because of a 35% chance for a Ditto horde vs the 5% for the trio, and Ditto only shows up there. I don't know if Static works on horde battles, but even then you have at best a 50/50.
Your other encounters are really good, too, so I can't help but be suspicious. Or maybe I'm just really tired of getting male Combee on Route 4.

Ok can we like talk about that tier list at the start? Why is USUM not at the top, and why is Sun and Moon in Noob? The fuck?
USUM is the hardest game in the franchise. Like, by far. Especially for nuzlockes.
The Z moves from Kahunas, rivals, Elite 4 and Champion, are hard to play around for nuzlockes.
Almost every single Totem fight is a run killer. Not only the fact that you have to fight 2v1 against a stat boosted Pokémon with a held item and a partner, but they all employ proper strategies as well.
- Raticate/Gumshoos is hard to take down because of the fact that you only have first stage Pokémon, they have boosted Defense and a level cap of 12.
- The Araquanid has starting rain, boosted speed and intimidate support. It is also much stronger than most the available encounters at this point.
- The Marowak is a Thick Club Marowak with boosted speed. That would be enough as is without the Salazzle being a pain.
- Luranits has Solar Blades, Leaf Guard and Synthesis with Sun Support and Flower Veil.
- Togedemaru is like the only easy one, and it’s still a lot harder than most gyms in most games.
- Mimikyu is omniboosted, has a level cap below most good fully evolved Pokémon, has a Lum Berry, status support and can set up.
- Kommo-O is an omniboosted pseudo-legendary. With a Roseli Berry. And a Boombursting Noivern and Bullet Punching Scizor.
- Ribombee gets a double omniboost, can Quiver Dance and gets rain and Heal Pulse support.
And even considering ALL OF THIS, along with having some of the hardest evil team leaders and admins, and rival fights, that’s not even mentioning how EVERY IMPORTANT TRAINER IS EV AND IV TRAINED.
The fact that you consider these games to be easier than Diamond and Pearl, and consider Sun and Moon to be easier than Let’s Go is ridiculous.
