7:25 Azumarill is such a good pokemon. It has nice typing, great abilities, useful attacks, decent stats, and it's easy to train and evolves early. When I played Emerald as a teen I often just caught a random Marill before Petalburg Forest, which would then wreck not only the first gym, but the entire Magma Hideout later in the game too, as you can go in with a lvl 18 azumarill and exit with a lvl 30+ azumarill, as it easily wrecks all wild encounters and most trainers. It's one of these Pokemon that are just nice in every way.
@@timhiltz6323 The only mon that is water steal is empoleon which isn’t in this game as far as I know. I agree! I love how it can tank attacks. I didn't realize how poor her attack stat was so she benefits immensely from a Naught nature/Huge Power ability.
I ALWAYS played attack heavy, never having special moves and never really using too many held items to boost my specials but after watching a ton of your Nuzlockes, I realize I wasted so much potential in all of my plays 😭 also, I didn’t realize I got here in the first half hour!! Great video Silph!!!

To those who don't get the ear biting reference at 3:42, in 1997 in a fight referred to now as "The Bite Fight" Mike Tyson fought against Evander Holyfield for the title of WBA Heavyweight Champion, during the fight, Mike Tyson at one point bit Holyfield's ear taking a chunk out, which ended up with him getting a disqualification and a suspension from boxing
I miss that bit of dialogue every time lol. Given how dialogue heavy Alola is in the beginning I just scroll straight thru without even bothering to see what is said, but yeah, Serena is absolutely right.
excluding Gen 8 which is basically free with every type, Fairy in X/Y is definitely one of the easiest ones if not the easiest given how many ancounters you get, how good they are and how many coverage moves they get, how easy the games are in general and how broken the type is and also you face very few Steel and Poison mons/moves during the main story
@@rajkanishu I feel like the hardest type to clear Gen 8 with is rock types, if you're playing Sword that is. Maybe grass types in Shield? I've found some monotype challenges kinda challenging in Gen 8 for some reason

I've watched pretty much all of your challenges and the reason why I think yours are better than the other YTers is because you impose the most challenging set of restrictions (ie. no using a pokemon until it's evolved into the typelocke, choosing the most challenging starter, etc)

Have u given thought bout running a hardcore nuzlocke in Pokémon ultra sun using only Alolan Pokémon
can u do a black 2 white 2 with only water pokemon
This run was so easy, Silph didn't have to say "man, oh man!"
