i got the $15 "non mint" box and it blew my mind! kicking myself that i didnt get more than 1. I got 1 pop that was vaulted with ZERO box damage. The other 3 were in close to excellent condition as well. i was so surprised and happy. Cant wait for the next time!!

Your math is very confusing to me for this box. I'd personally say for $30, minus $10 for the shirt, that would be $20 for four pops. That would make them $5 each, which is an amazing price for pops in mostly perfect condition, considering most places regularly sell them for $10-$12 lately. At least that's how I worked out the value in my head when I was purchasing this box, myself. Not to mention the fact that you pulled a Chase Eleven, which is easily worth $50+ on the secondary market 😉

Plus she got that crazy awesome chase eleven pop, which like I said, is worth upwards of $50 on the secondary market. Nancy H you got a point but I don't collect POPs so I don't know how much they cost. All I know is that she always looks so unhappy with the POPs she gets, if I don't like something even $5 seems like such a waste. I bet if she loved the pops the price wouldn't matter. (I collect nendoroids though, I would love to have them for at least $10)
kirika20 I've never really gotten in Nendoroids myself, but they look really cool! I kind of want the Overwatch one that's coming out soon! But I hear you, when you're on a super tight collecting budget (like I am), even $5 on something you don't love can be a huge waste. But I think that's why I liked getting the MINT box over, let's say, the $15 regular box they offered. Because with the Mint box they gave us the option to choose a category (essentially choose what kind of pops you got), and they said that they'd all be relatively NEWER pops. So i guess it all worked out for me, in the end. But like you said, it all depends on what you like and what you're willing to pay for it.
We are in the box collectors too, so the damaged one you got in each box would be unacceptable for us as well. But I see in the comments below that they made it up to you somehow. That's good customer service. You did get some good ones, for each order to be a mystery box.

We pack our cases with love + care, once it leaves our warehouse the cases endure some serious shipping wars. We gotta get our UPS shippers some bubble wrap gloves! + we agree, you won't get all those Pops! + a t-shirt for $30 ANYWHERE!
I think its really professional that "the collector case" watched the video and read the comments and made it known they will fix it..ive never seen that before
it sucks that they basically didn't have boxes big enough. However that chase is worth the entire box and $7 per pop with many new ones (not even out in uk yet and we pay $12 for commons!)
You have every right to be upset about those pops not coming in mint condition especially if you payed for mint condition you should definitely contact collectors case and see if they will replace those damaged pops or give you your money back I've done it once with another company and they were so kind and gave me a new pop . Also that was really nice of you to get all different shirt sizes your always thinking about your fans and the kids at your work that's just really sweet you seem like a great person

Have you pulled the "TH-cam" card yet? Write the company an email and say, "I purchased 5 Mint boxes to show my fans on TH-cam and was disappointed that every box had one bent and not in mint condition." See if they will replace it...if you need you can tell them that it's discouraged some of your fans from purchasing. Because it has me...I was thinking about getting the box but decided against it because I'm a HUGE stickler for mint boxes.
I can't believe you got that Eleven Chase version. I have never even seen a Chase pop! I got 2 of the "non-mint" boxes and they were in excellent condition. I would've gotten more, but the shipping price is outrageous!
The Collectors Case I am okay with $8 for the first box, but it shouldn't be $8 for each box. You guys are great at combining the boxes into one box for shipment, so I doubt it costs that much to ship. I could be wrong though. Don't get me wrong. I was VERY happy with my boxes. I'm just tight on cash right now and sad I couldn't get more. I could've gotten another box for the price of shipping :(

I like what you are saying here regarding the quality control of the pop boxes. I mentioned this topic in one of your other videos. Funko ships pops in cardboard box protectors. Funko is at the center of quality control for pops. They must license the other companies to sell pops. They could make it a requirement for any seller of brand new pops that are being shipped must have the pops in a protector. I mean if you receive a never before owned pop in a protector and it's damaged. It went into the protector damaged. If Funko made it "law" to have individual protectors used in amy shipping it would only increase the value of pops but even more importantly than that is it expresses how important the box is to the overall experience and worth. My 2 cents.
Good selection, but I agree with you. If they are going to be billed as "mint", they shouldn't be stuffing them into the shipping box. Maybe they can send you a medium shirt to make up for it ?

The rectangles are created when the press makes the boxes the psi isn't calibrated correctly and too much pressure is applied to the box. Unfortunately funko doesn't seem to recognize that as damaged.
If one collects a lot of different Pops then these are good boxes. But for someone like myself who only collects a very small range, then the boxes are rather meh. Good video none the less and it is nice to see what people receive in their mystery boxes.
If you aren't interested in it. I'd only be pleased to get it if I knew it had a good resell value. Not interested in Stranger Things so the Pop means nothing to me. If it were a Star Wars chase, then that's an entirely different thing.

I think they mass produce theses too much. It only keeps value if not everyone has theses. Common ones should be limited to 20 grand max. Then tiered down to 10. 5 and the rares should be 2 grand. The ultra rares should be no more then a grand. Most ppl that keep theses would keep them in the box.

I got Aquaman for $6.98 CAN. On sale from $12.98 at EB Games here in Kelowna BC. Thought that was pretty cheap as far as Funko Pops go. I think you got decent value for them but I would for sure mention something about how they're packed and shipped. If I'm buying brand new I wanna look at a box and the item and see that it looks brand new and not "used."
I tried to explain to my brother why I wouldn't buy a Funko that had a torn top and it was like explaining ticket science. It's just like people who collect shoes or games, to each their own
I have seen a couple people unboxing the damaged boxed ones and I got a box of damaged boxes and to be truthfully they were basically in the same shape as the ones you got. In my box there was 1 that was in worse shape but for the most part the boxes were really about the same as what you got.

I have seen a couple people unboxing the damaged boxed ones and I got a box of damaged boxes and to be truthfully they were basically in the same shape as the ones you got. In my box there was 1 that was in worse shape but for the most part the boxes were really about the same as what you got.
So you lucked out then... :)
