  • How many of you guys eat meatloaf on the regular? When I got the idea to make it for dinner earlier this week, I couldn’t believe I’d never made it for my husband and kids!
I hope you guys enjoyed this quick little video! Sometimes the only point of a video should be to make someone smile or giggle, and I hope I was able to provide that for you by sharing this silly moment of our family.
Love you guys and I’ll see you again next week!

    Meatloaf Recipe
    Ingredients:
    2 lbs lean ground beef
    3/4 cup bread crumbs
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 cup chopped onions
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar + 2 slices of velveeta
    2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp garlic powder
    For Glaze:
    2 Tbsp ketchup
    1 Tbsp mustard
    1 Tbsp brown sugar
    Directions:
    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Place ground beef in a large bowl, and add in breadcrumbs, eggs, onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt and
    pepper.
    3. Mix until thoroughly combined.
    4. Divide your mixture in half and pat half into a loaf pan.
Cover the beef mixture with cheese. Avoid placing cheese on the edges of the meatloaf.
Add the remainder of the beef mixture to the top of the meatloaf, making sure to cover the cheese. If any of the cheese has drifted off to
the sides of the pan, you can move it back toward the middle before covering it with the beef. You will want to create a seal around the edges with the beef so the cheese doesn't come out.
Bake for 40 minutes and remove from the oven to put on the glaze.
To make the glaze for the meatloaf, mix together 2 tablespoons of ketchup, 1 tablespoon of mustard and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar.
Brush the meatloaf with the glaze. Place the meatloaf back into the oven for another 10-15 minutes or until the beef reaches a temperature
    of 160 degrees.
When the cooking time has ended, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it sit for 15 minutes. This will keep the cheese from spilling
out of the meatloaf when you slice it.

Lol!! Hilarious!! It looks amazing. We aren’t meatloaf eaters at home either, but I’m going to try this. My kiddos are really little still, so they might just eat up. We’ll see what my husband says...
    Thank you!! ❤️🙏

How funny! I love meatloaf. It’s actually one of my comfort foods. My teen boys aren’t huge fans, though. So, when I make it, it’s all for me.

🤣 my husband hated meatloaf until I found a Rachel Ray Instapot recipe that is amazing and can be made simultaneously with mash potatoes in the instapot. Now, it's one of his favorites!

I have a lot of those days when I decided to be creative with cooking with my 17 yo!!
I make meatloaf as an easy burger meal (instead of having separate patties). I put it in a bigger pan ( not a mold) and throw in some potatoes too.
we then cut in slices and make 🍔

in slavic culture we have meat patties (kotleti) so instead of meatloaf maybe the same meat mixture can be put into patties instead? like burgers but not plain beef. i dont understand how meatloaf can be so hated...

@@SylviaUnscripted I never make my husband hates it from childhood. When I had it growing up it was served on a plate and then sliced and we took slices from the plate. The cheese looked interesting. I think the way it was served and the cheese may have made it a bit too wet without it being a moist kind of wet. You know what I mean? Soggy? I don’t know how people who eat hamburger don’t like meatloaf. It’s basically the same thing.
