Thanks for the video, Wyatt. You've mentioned that you've been listening to metal less and less these days, so I think it'd be interesting if you made a video explaining some of the reasons for this, and also going through the genres/projects that you're listening to at the moment.
You are correct and that is a great album! David Tibet treated subjects like the human condition and racism with such care on that thought provoking work! For whatever reason though, when I look at that shirt, that particular song comes to mind. The blacklisting/banning issue on Discogs is such an interesting debate. The main two reasons a record gets blacklisted is #1 Bootlegs/Unofficial pressings and #2 Records that promote hate or violence against specific groups. I think Discogs shouldn't ban any records at all. As far as I know, Amazon doesn't ban any books regardless of content. It should be the same with music. When you prohibit people from obtaining or doing something, you only make that item/ action more desirable. In the case of Bootlegs and "racist" albums, the fact that you can't openly buy and sell them on certain markets only increases the value and desirability of a potentially "harmful" record. Great collection! Thanks for sharing.

Hope we get a follow-up to this but have it be boxsets. We're open by Groceries at $130 There were a few classic rock albums up there that I didn't include because I feel like everyone owns them like L.A. Woman or Abraxas so I decided to include the more "interesting" ones. As for boxsets: The Elden Ring Set at $430 Hotline Miami 1 and 2: The complete collection at $350 Extended Impera by Ghost at $292 And just so I can include some metal, here's my metal ones. I don't own anything super rare here so its nothing amazing. Somewhere in Time by Iron Maiden for $100 Where Owls know my Name by Rivers of Nihil for $100 Petrodragonic Apocalypse by King Gizzard for $85
My vinyl collection is still in double digits but the 4 records that are my most valuable right now are: - Dungeon Serpent: World of Sorrows first press, and its mostly because of what a nightmare it was to get it, I pre-order it Summer 2021 but didn't get it delivered until early 2023, because my country's postal service is a joke. - Both Svartidauđi records, I got the last ever available copies on retail from Lucky Records - Mgła: Groza, and its signed by all members, the core line-up and the live/session members
My most expensive vinyl is a copy of Beck's Mellow Gold which sold for $200 as the highest on Discogs. Got it as a birthday gift from my sister years ago!
Supposedly my Evangelion soundtrack went for $1,000 lol

The most valuable I have owned is Evoking a Decade by Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult. I was stupid and gave away all my CDs a few years ago. I bought that one in 2009 for around 15 or 20 dollar directly from the band. The highest it sold for on Discogs is around $130. Not a lot compared to the albums in this list, but I so badly want it in my collection again 😭
Holy shit, I actually have that Abigor record! Had no idea of its worth.... I only have like 40 black / death records including every grand belial's key record. Just recently got into collecting.
Pricey records in my collection by discogs I'm aware of are these: - Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio "Make Love, And War: The Wedlock Of Roses, And Equilibrium" 2LP - Wylve / The Rain in Endless Fall split demo 12" - v/a "Crushing the Holy Trinity" both CD and vinyl versions, but both versiona are banned on discogs market - Corrupted "El dios queja" 10" - Worship / Agathocles (white cover) 7"EP - complete collection of Painiac's Suicidal Doom Series and probably some more. EDIT: - Lifelover "Pulver" LP and CD first presses - Peste Noire first album LP and "Lorraine Rehearsal" LP
Off the top of my head I remember spending like 400 dollars on Endless War by Realm and at least 200 on Blaze of Obscurity by Pariah. This was several years ago before they got repressed and/or put up for streaming 😅
Lets take a moment to appreciate that Berserk was brought up... GOATed franchise, and an amazing soundtrack on every single end (yes even the 2016 anime, Shiro Sagisu is amazing). Susumu Hirasawa is a godlike composer
I don’t collect records anymore, just CD’s. I’ve picked my 5 that sold for the highest price, but the median values are nowhere near any of these: •European Echoes 2002 Repress ($107.52) •Angel Dust ($110) •Yeezus ($115) •Public Castration Is A Good Idea 1999 Repress ($120.43) •Hot Rats 1987 Repress ($161.29)

Death In June - But, What Ends When The Symbols Shatter?
Hope we get a follow-up to this but have it be boxsets. My personal collection would probably be scoffed at by a lot of people and I haven't had the money to buy vinyl in awhile but my highest are:
Hit Vibes by St. Pepsi at $175
Zeldawave by Polygon Dream at $163
Ghost and Volbeats 7 inch split at $150
Yes! We're open by Groceries at $130
There were a few classic rock albums up there that I didn't include because I feel like everyone owns them like L.A. Woman or Abraxas so I decided to include the more "interesting" ones. As for boxsets:
The Elden Ring Set at $430
Hotline Miami 1 and 2: The complete collection at $350
Extended Impera by Ghost at $292
And just so I can include some metal, here's my metal ones. I don't own anything super rare here so its nothing amazing.
Somewhere in Time by Iron Maiden for $100
Where Owls know my Name by Rivers of Nihil for $100
Petrodragonic Apocalypse by King Gizzard for $85
I want to start a vinyl collection 😭
Slippery slope

This guy's still getting new records and I'm running out of space for them😂
I’m interested Ed in checking out Current 93. What do you recommend I start? And I’ve started collection no records this year fun
Thunder Perfect Mind
for some reason I can't find the Ghostly Kisses debut album anywhere to listen to :/
It’s on here
It’s just a different artwork of the singer laying on chairs
@@wyattxhim oh cool, the alternative album cover looks neat.I was able to find a couple of the tracks, ty I appreciate the help!
My vinyl collection is still in double digits but the 4 records that are my most valuable right now are:
- Dungeon Serpent: World of Sorrows first press, and its mostly because of what a nightmare it was to get it, I pre-order it Summer 2021 but didn't get it delivered until early 2023, because my country's postal service is a joke.
- Both Svartidauđi records, I got the last ever available copies on retail from Lucky Records
- Mgła: Groza, and its signed by all members, the core line-up and the live/session members
My most expensive vinyl is a copy of Beck's Mellow Gold which sold for $200 as the highest on Discogs. Got it as a birthday gift from my sister years ago!
12:52 Abigor don't want to repress Nachthymnen?
Let me cry in Weakling
Hey Wyatt, what is your opinion on the Blazebirth Hall bands?
Pricey records in my collection by discogs I'm aware of are these:
- Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio "Make Love, And War: The Wedlock Of Roses, And Equilibrium" 2LP
- Wylve / The Rain in Endless Fall split demo 12"
- v/a "Crushing the Holy Trinity" both CD and vinyl versions, but both versiona are banned on discogs market
- Corrupted "El dios queja" 10"
- Worship / Agathocles (white cover) 7"EP
- complete collection of Painiac's Suicidal Doom Series
and probably some more.
EDIT:
- Lifelover "Pulver" LP and CD first presses
- Peste Noire first album LP and "Lorraine Rehearsal" LP
Makes me want to see what all my small collection has going for it! Granted- I will never give any away but still
Wyattxhim dropping another banger
That Morbid album is priceless!
Dude that Morbid record is INSANE!
Peste Noire's latest album for almost 300 dough is possibly the biggest scam I've heard
Whats the band if 8:00
Bosnian black metal band Obskuritatem, the album is Vampirska kakofonija
wow so original, how did you dome up with that?
Mine is comus first utterance 1st press on Dawn
note: Recent MOV reissue on clear is quite nice too
I don’t collect records anymore, just CD’s. I’ve picked my 5 that sold for the highest price, but the median values are nowhere near any of these:
•European Echoes 2002 Repress ($107.52)
•Angel Dust ($110)
•Yeezus ($115)
•Public Castration Is A Good Idea 1999 Repress ($120.43)
•Hot Rats 1987 Repress ($161.29)
Whats the abum in the thumb nail?
Out of curiosity, what do you do for a living?
@@thewal1ofsleep postal service
@@wyattxhim interesting. I've considered looking at jobs in the USPS. Are you a carrier or do you do something else?
