This is a revolutionary budget for 🇮🇳 🎉
    1. Middle class
    2. MSME (More business and benefits)
    3. Farmers (more production)
    4. Manufacturing and Import
    5. Makhana board ❤
    This is crazy!

      @2kcreations721 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +8

I have to disagree with the first point, which is a revolutionary budget for the Middle class. Is a person earning 1 lakh rupees considered Middle class now? Just imagine if a husband and wife work and both earn more than 80k and 1 lakh. Both, combined, earn 1.8 lakh per month, and they are considered a middle-class family. It may be any two people in a family.
The point is that they can withstand Inflation. However, normal middle-class people who earn 25k-50k or a combined income of less than 70k will still struggle to combat Inflation, depending on the Regional Cost of Living.

@@2kcreations721So what? If two people are earning then you mean we should tax them more? This is the mindset we need to get out of. Let both of them earn and save for their family.

21:48 Bihar has the most fertile land in India
If you look at the water consumed per KG of any agricultural commodity produced Bihar consumes the least.
    Second comes West Bengal.
This simple point shouldn't be missed
The political angle to it doesn't make sense.
The tax collection was low because of a consumption slowdown which is evident in growth rate of GDP.
The high interest rates can be a reason whose purpose was to tackle inflation.
Third reason is due to decline in combined public Capex due election code of conduct.
I didn't expect this point to be highlighted.
Why this pivot from the content team to cover the political point?
Another point at 23:41 why Jal Jeevan mission lost steam?
Economic survey itself clearly highlighted 3 fold increase in tapped water supply when compared with 2019 when Jal Jeevan mission was launched.
The Micro Enterprises Credit card with ₹5 lakh as limit is launched.
I think it was one of the questions which was asked by you in a podcast with the Finance Minister what the government is doing to address the issue of:
"MSMEs buy on cash and sell on credit"
These cards should be penetrated more and limits should be increased based on performance.
Just like how Mudra loans are penetrated and the limit has been increased.
This was personally highlighted by Think School at various platforms.
Similarly credit access of upto 2 Crore for first time entrepreneurs seems a positive but should see how implementation would be.

I wish if we could see an analysis on the below:
    1. Budget allocations to election-prone states in the previous years(as far back as we can go, not limited to NDA).
    2. Budget allocations to states that stand opposition to the ruling government.
    3. Long term impact of the states most affected. Apart from this being a political bribe, it is to be identified how and if states take advantage of it and flourish while the opposition states get hit due to negligance.
Because this, like every other budget announcements, impact lives or even generations in the long run.

In US, personal income tax contribution is 45% corporate tax contribution less than 7% of total collection. Consumption tax contribution 17% ( like our GST).Still US companies setup factories abroad!
Whereas in India, personal tax contribution is 22% ( half of US), corporates 17%, consumption (18%). Biggest gap is govt borrowings 24% that FM is trying to atleast maintain instead of reckless borrowing like some states do..

I love the way you break things down and make it simple to understand. Your break up and explanation of how there new tax structure works with the 12.0Lakhs no income tax announcement being bandied about as some great achievement by the BJP was excellent. However as regards all the other schemes you mentioned post the IT section are just noise by this Govt which has done this for every budget since 2014....made huge announcements on key sectors and in the end achieved nothing. Almost every scheme they announced pre 2025 has fallen flat on its face, and there is no mention of those schemes forthwith. whereas Dr MMS announced the MNREGA scheme in his budget and it stands the test of time of time, helping the rural poor till date especially during the harshest days of the covid pandemic. Modi and Nimmi are just noise makers for the bhakts to feel happy. If you can substantiate any of the past schemes announced by the Modi Govt till date and their rates of success till date I would be happy to be enlightened.

about your Criticisms which you mentioned. Yes there are budget cuts on certain projects. For example if road is already built and infrasture has been already build you don't need to spend more money in that. because some part of infrasture is already being done. And keeping budget same doesn't make any sense. And second criticism , much money have been allocated to bihar. Let me tell you Bihar has a same Potential as UP in Spritual sector, almost every Indian Religion has it's connection with Bihar, Sikh guru was born in Bihar, Jainism started from Bihar, Bodhgaya is also in Bihar. So making more Airport and building Infrastructure will boost the economy of bihar. It's just their current leaders needs to be serious about it, Like yogiji. And about the last criticism about PMAY and PMAnna yojana. about PMAY there have already many house already build and given so you don't have to spend same money. and About PM ann yojana it was basically started for hard times like corona which is already over and now everything is in control since long enough. so now giving free food to this much people doesn't make any sense, because now people are earning. who can't afford it should be given to them only. i am no Economist but whatever i have written that's based on my knowledge and thinking.

Everything's good but R&D got much lower. Atleast it should be 20% of what defence gets, but it's less than 10% of that for Defence. How can Make in India, Innovations and efficiency improvement happen without you invest in R&D ?

To all the people saying what if income is slightly more than 12.75 Lakhs, here me out:
If a person is earning salaried income, he'll get a standard deduction of 75k. Thus tax is payable on 12,25,000 according to slabs which is 63,750.
But here, he'll get marginal relief under section 87A of 38,750.
All in all, he'll have to pay tax of 25,000 + 4% cess = 26,000.

I have one question why can't the Govt. increase CapEx at the cost of salaries and pensions ? Since a majority of the budget is going towards RevEx (Revenue Exp.) than CapEx. Like in the Defence Budget approx. 73% is going for RevEx and the rest is for CapEx.

when your country itself is like an middle class, then in order to fulfil long term wishes of its children it would have to compromise somewhere and bide its time to compensate it.
Overall fabulous budget, many things which we build over last 10 years don’t need again same amount and now we just need to sustain it and i.e in many sector!
Bihar is the most corrupted and fragile state but has some of most hardest workers, smartest minds and don’t forget it was our capital not long ago before islamic invasion, two prominent sects came out of Bihar that is Sikhism and Budhism, they huge scope of tourism through coridors, one of the world most prestigious university for ages ie Nalanda is their and it is time to bring it back to the same glory once again and make it researchers abode! if Bihar once started even walking it will transform our entire east and in future it will start joining hands with other states to drive our bharat forwards, in fact it might just turn out to be not just an engine but a turbo engine because in my heart I know there is huge oil, gas, rare earths, minerals are there and people are very hard working them have seen enough politics and are done growing and sending their children to another states.

Maybe they are scared of the middle class (scared of losing elections, maybe), so they made it all more manageable for the people and the economy in the short term while harming the long-term plans. The tax slabs are a great move, but the fiscal deficit was a clue that the govt is reducing the tax burden and making people happy that expenditure is less. But the big picture truth is that the journey from a developing nation to a developed nation requires money, tax and long-term money planning. I hope that they secure more non-tax income sources and work towards increasing exports.

If the health is good then we can say that the Delhi Government did a good job in implementation of Electricity freebie.
Otherwise would mean delayed payments from the government which would expose the entire claims they make.
