Yes the bike is standard. Only change here is a 51 tooth rear sprocket up from the 49 standard and of course a set of Michelin mediums. It's very easy to ride and so enjoyable😊
Can I ask, how has it been on long hill climbs? I'm afraid of fragility of the engine on my ktm 500 (blew one up with only 6k of mild use and proper maintenance) and now am considering the Kove. But, I'm still attached to the 500 for it's low end grunt because basically any hill that I encounter, I can lug up it safely and slowly with a loaded bike (luggage), whereas on my crf300L, I have to use momentum, and that speed makes it problematic and kind of unsafe for me in sketchy, rocky, exposed climbs. The 500 on the other hand is like, "whatever, I'll take you wherever bud at a snails pace if you want"...
Can't remember the last time I was so exited by a new bike, the Cove 450 is just speaking to my soul! You making that bike look pretty handy in tight stuff, great to see and thanks for posting. Is that on standard exhaust, cat and ecu?
Good to see some proper riding on the Kove! I'm about to put a deposit on this bike. How tall are you and how do you like the ergonomics and stock suspension? I'm 195cm and ~100kg in full riding gear. I have read that the bottom out support of the stock suspension could be better. I used Michelin Mediums and M14 mousses on my Beta RR with a 19l rally tank and they worked well. How do you find this setup on a bike that's considerably heavier than a standard enduro bike?
Hi pal, I am 6 foot 3 and 95kg without kit. This bike is totally standard suspension wise. Only change to this bike so far is the gearing 😆 the suspension could be improved with valving but is more than capable without touching 😄
Also the Michelin mediums with the m14 mousse is brilliant I will use new mousses on her and transfer to the enduro bike when worn and replace with new 👌
@juladventure I fine it fine. I got 12 front and 51 back and still can cruise at 55 60mph and will top out at around 85 ish. 13 front and she's a little nicer on the road
I haven't planned on the pipe and ecu yet no, I am having a mid section without cat made but that more due to the fact I've dented the original but I will update whatever I do change 👌😁
It's very loud , pops and bangs a lot more, slight performance increase , but noticeable, not sure if it would pass scrutineering I used mine for trail riding tet ect, I have a 790 with cone valves tower ect also but been using the kove more recently, done the 51 rear sprocket
@Kove450rally thanks for the reply. The bike design is very awesome. But the engine is a big question for me. So i will wait that some guys do a lot of mileage with this engine.😁 for more engine experience.
Hopefully Kove throw you a bone & you can put the bike to the test over 12months 🤠, convince me to buy it 🤙. I would based on what I see, but 300hrs /10000km, in the hands of a trail hack is hectic for a dirt bike. Im keen to see how they go. I like the look of the CF moto 450MT about to hit the market in Australia here. Love ya work, keen to see some of ya riding & commentary on the Kove.
Great to see someone actually riding that Kove like it should. 🤙🔥
Thanks pal 😂 it likes to be ridden like this 😊

I love this video.
Can you say a bit about your riding background - other machines you've spent time on? What you think of the Kove relative to those?

All standard mate 😊

You going to trying the timing key mod?
Awesome Video. Which engine brand is inside?
The kove uses a zongshen 450 motor but the top end has been redesigned to become dohc instead of the original sohc. Brilliant engine 👏

@Rudis_Garage yes fair enough 👌 check out all the other brands that use this engine it's tried and tested and very reliable.
@@Kove450rally thanks for the tip

It looks good to be Chinese.
It certainly is I'm very impressed with how it rides and the quality of the bike and fitments 👌
