This really worked, thank you! I had the fault light flashing 4 times (indicating a potentially blocked inlet/outlet pipe) I cleared the pipes with compressed air then used your timing to reset the system. Awesome! Cheers guys!

From April 2018 the reset if fan-off-fan within 2.5 seconds. Prior to April 2018 the reset is flame-off-flame within 2.5 seconds. No special 'jiggery' or speed. You can check the production date by the serial number - the last three digits are the production date, i.e. D18 = April 2018. Also, a look at the sticker on the main circuit board will differentiate: 770.215 = flame position reset, 770.530 = fan position reset. By the way, an explanation of the 3-flash fault: if the voltage at the heater drops below 10.5 volts or exceeds 15.0 volts while the heater is connected to power, whether the thermostat is on or not, the fault will set. Most often the over-voltage happens due to solar controllers that sometimes exceed 15.0 V. One fix in that situation is to add a power off switch to the red wire going to the unit from the battery, turn off when solar is active. The other option is a DC-DC voltage drop regulator available on eBay for less than $10, which would be required if running the heater during peak solar charge.
I've just tried the suggested method in the original video, it cleared the fault for a few seconds only for the heater to then show the same 3 blink fault. Do you recon that this could be an electrical fault I have then mate?
Thanks for this. Mine was flashing a single red light. Losing my mind as to what's wrong. I was trying the off on scenario but think I was doing it too quickly. Slowing it down to match the same speed as you in the video and it fired up right away. Over the moon!!
I agree with all the cold and grateful comments, Thankyou. Not content at slowly getting warmer, I also want to know why? Any guesses, it randomly doesn't fire when unattended so wake up cold, it is an ancient X1 though.
Hi I have a issue with the heater starting up and blowing cold air but no light come on the panel at all green or red or any flashing lights either ???? So the heater will only blow cold air .I have tryed checking all the fuses and they seem fine...so any ideas or help will be much appreciated...thanks Andy...

Wanda Van Thank you so much I saw this van on Instagram and I wanted to cry because literally it looked exactly like how I would envision how I wanted my van to be especially with the set bed and then the two couches that turn into another van and with what I call the jail cabinets and the fridge built where you open it from the top too. Ugh literally in love. Do you know or what would you recommend be the American version of that van?

It's such an annoying thing. Just imagine if you didn't know and we're stuck in the woods...propex hopefully fixed that problem.
