The Beatles have a way of altering your mood, with or without enticements. Some of their best songs are, 'A Day in the Life', 'Strawberry Fields Forever,' 'For No One', and 'Yesterday', but there are so many to choose from.
Thanks for the reaction bruh, the Beatles have so many great songs. It all started poppy and only love songs to girls "She loves you", "From me to you" and later on it went on more experimental and just big, big songs. If you never heard it, try "Let it Be" (they did a new video of it with unseen footage recently) or "Hey Jude" (but listen the studio version if you can, amazing). Thank you and have fun exploring! 😁
In this song they use a synthesizer for the first time. But they only use it very sparingly in the service of the song, not as a shiny new toy to go crazy with. Also, Here Comes the Sun is the most-streamed Beatle song on Spotify. Oh, yes, George wrote this song in Eric Clapton's garden one early spring day when the sun was just starting to come out after a cold, dark English winter. So yeah, that's what you're feeling!
You are young that is where you are at with the Beatles, lol. However the Beatles are timeless like all things that are good for your soul.Glad you are enjoying their music.
Another Beatles tune that is very similar to "Here Comes the Sun" is "Good Day Sunshine". A very upbeat happy song! A non-Beatles song that is also very similar is called, "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves. But getting back to the Beatles, most of their catalogue are filled with upbeat songs like "We Can Work It Out", "Please Please Me", "The Night Before", "I Saw Here Standing There", "Rock and Roll Music", "I Feel Fine", "Roll Over Beethoven", "Baby You Can Drive My Car", "Got To Get You Into My Life", "Hello Goodbye", "Magical Mystery Tour", "Birthday", "Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me and My Monkey", "Obla Di Obla Da", "Octopus's Garden", "Penny Lane", "She Loves You", "Martha My Dear", "Lovely Rita", "Dear Prudence", etc. However The Beatles have also recorded sad, downbeat songs like "For No One", "Yesterday", Eleanor Rigby", "Fool On the Hill", "Yer Blues", "A Day in the Life", "Cry Baby Cry", "Norwegian Wood", "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away", "Don't Bring Me Down", "Sexy Sadie", etc. BTW another great George Harrison Beatles song is called, "Old Brown Shoe". My favorite post-Beatles Harrison songs are "All Those Years Ago", and "When We Was Fab".
The reason the Beatles stopped doing live concerts was simply for two reasons one the crowds were so loud with the girl screaming and crying they couldn't hear themselves play and number two they wanted to get more experimental and make more complex songs that would be impossible to perform live
Start from the beginning With songs like she Loves You and Help. Look for live performances. Their music changed thru the years but I love each period of musical progression.
WHAT!! No Rolling Stones yet?? "Gimme Shelter", "Paint It Black", "Sympathy For The Devil", "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'" or maybe the live in studio version of "Wild Horses" might be a better start for you.
First Beatles song to have over 1 Billion hits on Spotify. GREAT SONG!!!
That’s amazing
