The first time I went to CCP was due to a school field trip. That was around 1995 or when I was in grade 6. It was quite memorable not only because the bus driver played the April Boys' song non-stop (I think Cesar Montano and Mikee Cojuangco had a blockbuster movie then of which it was the theme song lol) until our ears bled but also it had spurred my love for watching plays. Tommy Abuel was one of the stellar cast we watched that day. Even the late Mark Gil (and his wife) applauded with us after the play concluded. As an aside, hurray! - I finally had the chance to check out the Dolomite Beach after I attended my niece's oath-taking at MoA Arena last early May. :) Thank you for the sudden reminiscence and as always, for this lovely and terrific tour, Tour. I will be sure to watch until the end. :) PS: Take extra care every one esp. since COVID cases are on the rise again!

I was hoping for public swimming pools within the sandy beach with continuous flowing water falls spilling over the sea. To maximize Filipino enjoyment of the the bay area. The sea water is still not conducive for swimming. Pasig River exit points.

Roxas blvd should be pedestrianised; with all those trucks and cars passing by it is like a congested and noisy toxic highway and not an area to be recommended for tourists to visit at all
I was thinking the same thing Rodney. Manila will never cure pollution but that doesn't mean some areas shouldn't have restricted access to traffic. Maybe allow just electric vehicles (cars, jeepneys and buses) and use one lane for bicycles only. We can always dream LOL.

Dolomite beach looks beautiful. But the baywalk part is dugyot especially with the presence of the filthy vendors. The bike lane looks dangerous as well. Who in the right mind would put a bike lane going through an existing tree?

I was hoping for public swimming pools within the sandy beach with continuous flowing water falls spilling over the sea. To maximize Filipino enjoyment of the the bay area. The sea water is still not conducive for swimming. Pasig River exit points.
The sign with the "Dolomite Beach Regulations" should have a "NO GLASS BOTTLES/CONTAINERS" warning as well.
Hukbong Dagat Ng Piliapinas - I used to walk past it every day back in 2009 - looks nice now

Roxas blvd should be pedestrianised; with all those trucks and cars passing by it is like a congested and noisy toxic highway and not an area to be recommended for tourists to visit at all
I was thinking the same thing Rodney. Manila will never cure pollution but that doesn't mean some areas shouldn't have restricted access to traffic. Maybe allow just electric vehicles (cars, jeepneys and buses) and use one lane for bicycles only. We can always dream LOL.

Dolomite beach looks beautiful. But the baywalk part is dugyot especially with the presence of the filthy vendors. The bike lane looks dangerous as well. Who in the right mind would put a bike lane going through an existing tree?
