Steampipe. Incredible, being a wind instrument man I could get very excited about this, I can feel the G.A.S. rising, the pressure is building . I could picture myself using Steampipe in conjunction with the Roland Aerophone or the Osmose. thanks for the introduction man and all the best for 2025. Mick . Aus
Having just put the bank account into investment trauma purchasing a price reduced Osmose, the Steampipe is going to have to wait until I can afford it. The Nightverb is also very tempting. The other problem that I have is the all time low of the $Au Kind regards Mick. Aus
@@synthsamuraiproductions Yeah, Nightverb seems cool - though this synth seems to have a cool built in reverb that probably shares some DNA with it. How are you liking the Microcosm? That's one of my favorite pedals of all time.
@grindhouseglitch yeah thats what i was thinking and i read u can audio into the steam and use as giant effect unit. Live the microcosm and the chroma console. When is delivery time on the steamP?
The nightVerb is awesome and enjoy using it (mainly sound design) but maybe you wont need the nightverb if your purchasing the steampipe as it has similar features (spread, size, spin, bass & treble)
I'm seriously thinking of swapping Muse to Steampipe, Nightverb, SyntrxII and, yes, still be money to include those Tune the Cat socks! LOL The things is, first thing I check on any synthesizer or groovebox is what flute presets they have. Steampipe is not I want even, I needed it, always 🤣
It's so weird, I don't really like or listen to ambient music, but I love all the synths "designed" for it. I always see a lot of potential in them, because I love strange, bizarre and weird music. This is no different, I dig it. Erica does make cool gear. A little out of my price range. NASA, how'd you get through the Van Allen radiation belt? "We just did. Trust me bro. But we totally forgot how we did it." Ok
Other synths with physical modeling: Aodyo Anima Phi: strings Korg Prophecy, Nautilus: strings, electric piano Roland V-Piano: acoustic piano Studiologic Numa X Piano: acoustic and electric pianos Yamaha VL-1: acoustic piano, wind
I like it, but I think you’re better off buying the Osmose if you want acoustic modeling (unless you really want to design the sounds yourself). You can pick up a used one for the same price as this, you get 500 presets with more on the way, and you’re getting a revolutionary keybed.
Ummmm yeah... I don't think ANY of my Rolands can touch this.... This is a def what I call a "specialty synth".......... I'm now wondering what they're Erica Synths Perkons HD-01 Drum Machine and Rhythm Synthesizer sounds like??? I'll have to check it out!!
You say "I might buy it" about everything. While I respect your restraint.... what in the hell have you actually purchased recently? We wanna see samurai drop some bones
@@synthsamuraiproductions Hmmm, alright. Chump change. You smell that smoke? Smells like burning brakes. Ease off 'em samurai - throw that pedal to the metal and cop this asap.
@ Ya Mon, The synth drum part works , but the sequencer has some issues as well as the os. I haven’t used the sequencer in years now. Oxi one handles that part now.

It would be awesome to hear you play it! Im so close to buying, debating this or an osmose with a nightverb hmmm 🤔

@MichaelHarper-o9o epic
This one is right up my alley, so I preordered it. I've owned an Erica Syntrx, so I'm confident it will be well built.
Brother my trigger finger is ready to pull. U did man!!! Congratulations. I want the nightverb too

Don’t need this synth to make windy / steampipe noises … the day after every Taco Tuesday at my place, is Windy Wednesday!! 🌮🥴💨
The real steampipe 💨
The synth is strong with this one…
Big time epic
Steampipe. The perfect synth to blow off steam.

Hahaha Verner vaugh Brauhn trust me
@@synthsamuraiproductions Nein bro, nein.
That's probably the best digital sound I think I've heard. This one is definitely on my list now.
Yeah i agree big time
Karlplus strong plus synthesis allows very organic sounds when using noise.
This is what gives it makes it more interesting than most digital sounds.
I like what I'm hearing so far......... You can def do some unique percussion with this.......
Nuts
Awesome Product from an Awesome Company ... They do a lot of Modular Synth stuff as well !!
Love u

are you doing Synths awards this year? if so i want another award! 😂
Oh damn!! Forgot about that show!! Cheers for reminder
@ 🤟
I love stuff that specializes in a certain type of sound. Less likely to get it and end up feeling like it’s a mixture of two synths I already have.
Yeah i feel this is a very very unique synth man
I held off (it still hurts) from buying a discounted voltage lab. So proud of myself, but now this... Very tempting...
I also held off but now ⛽️ for steampipe
Perkons for Life
I need a perkins
Nightverb dropping in price near me. Saw a used one for sale real cheap only a week or two after release.
Send me link
I’m legit buying this.
Im 99.9%
@ Do it Samurai. That would fit perfect in your current set up. And the price is right.
@ConductiveIRL i agree man
This is the industrial revolution. Steam dream!
Fo sho
I just made my own Steampipe synth, using 12 different-sized kettles … … …
Damnn id like to see that

The issue are the presets. I never use a preset, Erica makes instrument that pushes you into explore it
Very tempting
Super tempting
been looking at this
I want the syntrix 2
I want it all
Damn, are we team steampipe now ?!😂
100%
Interesting 🤨 but really doubt i’d get it.

Steam Synth 😂
Super steam
Whatever, I’m still salty about Erica synths collab with Sonic potions. Lxr02 is full of bugs, no update in years. Not a fan.
