20 days ago I thought there was no way I could dedicate an hour a day to watch these videos daily, so I was planning on catching up on them over the summer, but here I am now having watched everyone. Thank you Mr. Provost!

We agree, Mr. Chris. We felt some of the luxury resorts lost the Disney magic. The environment doesn't feel like a Disney vibe. It feels like a regular resort. And wow, from 11 to 4pm I would have cried.
Hi Chris. We saw you when we were staying at the Contemporary, we hung around by the lake area for a few minutes as you filmed but didn’t want to disturb you. This was such a cool series, thank you for putting so much work into it.

I’m a Disney World person - only been to CA Disney once when I was a child, so I SO APPRECIATE when you do WDW. This was the BEST series I have ever watched and will watch it in order again.
It was wonderful to walk on my treadmill and be doing Disney with you while I got some steps in.
I know it was a huge undertaking and must have been so exhausting and I appreciate what you did for us!

It was an absolute joy to join you on this endeavor. Loved it! Loved your candor and your sense of humor. The hide a bed skits and the charge plug/Titanic skit made me laugh out loud! As to the water bottle and flush tests etc, so much of that stuff is pertinent to the room and floor its on. Your food reviews were great. People’s tastes are different and you were clear to say “not for me” or “love it”. All in all I really felt like I was there with you!
My only critique is you needed to take more time for yourself!

You covered all the main information about the pools like the slides, hours, what was available. I feel like we got everything we needed to know about the pools and really didn’t need to see it with people in them. Amazing job and 20 days of terrific content! Enjoy the time at home to relax!

This was a great series. It was very informative, and I enjoyed seeing the resorts from your prespective. Our favorite monorail resort is the Poly, but my favorite deluxe overall, handsdown, is Animal Kingdom Lodge/Jambo House. For me, the theming is just amazing. Starting your morning with coffee on a balcony watching giraffes wander by is something no other resort can come close to. And, after a busy park day, walking into that resort is just a huge ahhhhh.
Oh, and just an FYI for future visits. The resorts have a 3:00 room ready time, however the DVC's room ready time is 4:00.
I'm glad you're home now. You need the rest!

Chris, I know you aren't doing shout outs now, but when you were walking through the yacht club I was noticing how really clean and pristine it looked. So this is a "shout out" to all the housekeeping cast members! They really do an awesome job!

I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed all of these videos even though it put you through heck......I am so glad for all the information you provided on each and every one that you stayed at. Really enjoyed all the items and places that you showed us for each one.....made it feel like we were almost there. Thank you so much for doing such an incredible job......it was one of the best series that I have watched about the places to stay at Walt Disney World.....just wish that I get to go there sometime in the future to see firsthand all that you showed. I have stayed at the dolphin the last two times. SO MUCH CHEAPER than the Disney hotels and Disney rates it as one of their deluxe resorts so you get all the amenities! Try it next time. The pool is fantastic and so is the pool restaurant.

Shout out to you Chris for the incredible work you did on this series! I’m sure many of your viewers and fans, including myself have appreciated the efforts you put into presenting all the content for the hotels. Reviewing the pools is most definitely a plus; you did that in a respectful manner. I am using this series on deciding which hotel/resort to stay for our family vacation next year to Disney World! Last time we were there was 2007. This would be a major trip for us, and want to make the best decision for our family. Thank you Amanda and Miles for sharing Chris with us. I LOVED THAT YOU SHOWED THE POOLS it’s been driving me nuts trying to see the pools at each resort on TH-cam . Being that I’ve never been there and planning our first trip I VERY MUCH APPRECIATED you doing that. Great insights! Our family stayed at Pop during “The dark times” a few years ago, and I know you did as well. Your GAT code got us rooms for around $150 per night! That’s CRAZY for an on-property Disney hotel!
We love the CBR. We stayed in the Martinique area, so we had a 3-minute walk to the Rivera Skyliner station. It was great!
And I’m one of those people THRILLED with how you handled the pools. We got others in our CBR pool video, because there was just no avoiding it, and that’s the reason we stayed there.
But beyond that, we try to keep others out of our videos, or at least in the distant background. If someone gets close to the camera, I’ll throw an emoji over their face like I do with my own kids.

Thank you so much for doing this series, Chris! Now, after listening to what you did, and how you did it, may I make some suggestions for if you do something like this again?
First, room tests. I'm not sure all of those tests were necessary but here's my thoughts. Instead of doing those on checkout day, why not do most of them before going to bed on checkin day? I get you can't do the fridge or bed test until morning, but you can film the flush test when you get to the room for the first time and you can film the water pressure test in the shower when you get to the room as well. This would cut back on what you need to film before checking out to move on.
Second, I get "privacy" for people in the pool. That being said, when you're out in public (a hotel pool is a public place), there is no expectation of privacy. So, perhaps instead of not filming when there are people there, just go ahead and film. Perhaps avoid the loungers that have people in them but do a slow sweep of the entire area even if it has people there. Don't linger on others who are playing in the pool but don't be afraid to record them. You record others everywhere else in the resort, even down to people who are eating at tables behind you at the restaurants. Trust me, as someone who is self-conscious in a swimsuit, I'd rather my head and shoulders be filmed with me in the pool than me taking a bite of something (and perhaps even having it drip down onto my shirt right before it reaches my mouth...ack!!) as you're filming. LOL!
Next, the walking can definitely be a lot at these resorts. Perhaps next time consider renting an ECV for those resorts that don't have bicycle rentals? As someone who is mobility challenged, I know I wouldn't be able to do this at all without an ECV. Also, it would be nice for those of us who need the ECV to see how well they work or how challenging they might be in areas. It would save your legs and help those of us who depend on them to be able to have these experiences ourselves, at the same time. Win-win. ;)
Finally, next time please please please schedule one or more rest days for yourself during the series! Please don't go go go from hotel one to the last hotel without a rest. People with regular jobs have days off; you should, too! For this 20 days, you should have had at least three rest days, in my opinion! Sure, it's longer away from home, but those rest days would have been amazing rejuvenation for you so you could start back up at the next hotel to film without wearing yourself down so much. Take care of yourself so you can continue to do what you do so well. We love to see you and your videos and don't want to see you burn out anytime soon. Ok, maybe that sounds like a selfish reason on this end for you to take a rest, but I genuinely worried about you during this series. It took a toll on you and we all could see it. Please take care of yourself!

As a former WDW cast member I learned so much myself. I’m already making notes for my next Dec trip. And I’ll finally walk in the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge. I still can’t believe I haven’t been inside yet. 😂 And the French Quarter beignets! Now, I know where they are exactly located!
