Yay you came to Chicago! This is the Katie that messaged you about wrestling tickets a while back, we couldn’t get my spousal visa in Canada but luckily were able to land on our feet and moved to Chicago! So when I saw you came I was like woah! You’re here haha hope you had a great time and yes portillos is the best place for the Chicago dog. Next time you visit make sure to try the deep dish, we live Ginos East and Lou Malnatti ❤
Great video highlighting one of my favorite cities in the US! I recommend your next trip to Chicago be in June. The city really comes alive then with flowers blooming everywhere and the riverfront walk opening up. Did you happen to visit Starbucks Reserve while you were in Chicago? It's the world's largest Starbucks with 5 floors of Starbucks related foods and drinks (including a coffee-themed cocktail bar).
I love how excitable you are, I’m exactly the same when I go somewhere haha and can totally relate!! Also couple of curious questions, was it cheaper/more convenient to drive rather than fly? And I imagine you didn’t wanna take the trailer to a huge city but wondered if it was an option if you wanted it to be? Happy new year to you both! I came for the Canada tips but I’m here for the long haul! We are moving to Canada in May and doing a US road trip before we go - Nevada, Arizona and Utah and can’t wait to vlog it all!!
Hi! Thanks for watching :) We did not take the trailer due to it being a city and no knowing where we could sleep in the trailer. There and back it cost $150 USD in fuel plus $50 tolls = $200 USD Flying was coming in at $330 CAD each!!! so we saved a lot of money by driving Wow that trip sounds amazing! We have a few camping trips booked in for the year of new places so thanks for watching :D

@@LouiseWareArmstrong that’s amazing thanks for clarifying! I imagined it would be the case but I forget how cheap fuel is compared to the UK hahaha!!
