The Cardinals needs to keep the rest of their young pitchers and give them a real chance to pitch for them. These guys are just about ready! They've already given away a Cy Young pitcher and another number 1 starter! They need to allow the others a chance to show their abilities! They have all of these old pitchers on their staff right now and are still losing. What difference does it makes to see what they offer? Somebody is not a good judge of talent in their organization, based on the decisions that they've made so far!
I truly feel like some of these guys in AAA are stunted growth... And less motivated playing in the minors on the AAA roster. The Cardinals need to give McGreevy, Graceffo, Kloffenstein types more spot starts. At the MLB level, i feel like they will be more motivated. I think by a certain age, being in the minors all year, k!lls that competitive edge/motivation. We saw how Pallante getting a shot at the MLB rotation has elevated his game.
Thats easy to say... I've seen more players "come up" to the big leagues and perform well for a few months... Once opponents get a feel for who you are and your tendencies then things change.
@@johnferris9526 I mean that's fair. I just want to see what these young guys can do (in a spot start), instead of constantly trying the Liberatore experiment.
@@MGillDesign spot start is literal game changing brilliance. It causes other clubs to scout the minors harder. However the way contracts are written once you come up your clock for arbitration starts. Dont forget the money side. Welcome to being a GM.
All I have heard is U.C. Santa Barbara pitcher before Cards and a “SoCal guy. Since I am a lifelong Cardinal fan located in Ventura County in SoCal for over forty years over 36 years (only 2 back in Ilinois in the last 38 years. Just wondering where he is originally from.
Mcgreeeeeeves! Congrats buddy! SC and BAMS is proud of you!
Phenomenal start to your big league career and I’m thrilled you’re a Cardinal.
Phenomenal job by this kid.

What a great performance and he even seems to be a better human!!! I hope this wasn't a spot start and then he ends up in AAA. Go Cards!
