Vibratory Pile Driver/Extractor Design

This is my design for a 575 in-lbs vibratory pile extractor and driver, powered by a hydraulic motor. The eccentric shafts inside spin at 1600 rpm exerting a dynamic force of 17 tons, capable of extracting different kinds of piles. This exciter unit is attached to a clamping module and a group of elastomer isolators to reduce vibration transmission. Fully modeled and engineered in Autodesk Inventor 2008. The prototype is yet to come.
