President Carter was a humanitarian president. After his presidency was over he continued his humanitarian endeavors. He was true Christian. Because of his life work he has the respect of Americans & the whole world. President Carter set a high bar for Americans to follow. Jimmy Carter is the best of America.

Carter leaves with a fine legacy of service and putting others first. Trump’s back with his grubby, selfish legacy and pompous disregard for everyone but himself.

Carter has been the greatest president of the last 100 years. Compare him to presidents like Reagan, Clinton and Bush (2x)! He outshines them all.

At heart, Mr. Carter is a sincere humanbeing; but unfortunately not an ideal politician!

President Carter was a peace maker not a war horse. His administration did leave behind good things. But as with politics he did not get credit for those things. The politics at the time was looking for a war horse. That was not President Carter's style. He had no control over inflation. He still got blamed for the out-of-control inflation. He lost the election. It is what he was able to do after being president that is to be respected. {he did not whine and make up lies like Trump.} President Carter went out and got to work on making things better for people in America and the rest of the world.

Mr Carter was a good human being.
He was but a country leader must make difficult decisions requiring traits beyond a pottery barn manager.

Hmm…one blot on an extraordinary career: he backed down when Israel objected to his equating Zionism with Apartheid.
