I have known worldly pleasure is not worth eternity and heavenly pleasure as I have never known. I have grown in Christ and in the Word so much this year. I just finished reading the Old Testament today. I have read the New Testament but not Revelation. Tomorrow, I dive into Revelation. On this day, I feel free. I have felt this way before, but I know that I can endure temptation if I turn to the Lord and deny myself. The Word of God is my therapist. I can't erase memories; I can't erase my history, but I can make new memories and run my race to Jesus as long as the Lord allows me to live. Let us live to glorify God through His Son Christ Jesus. Not grieving the Holy Ghost within us (Eph 4:30). I will pray for you @rob80nikki. I believe the Lord will deliver us both, and we will experience repentance. The work that the Lord has started within us, He will finish it (Phil 1:6).
Please pray for me, as I struggle to overcome my flesh and desires of youth.. I know what I ought not to do, but continue to backslide and turn away from God. This will be the first time I’ve come to anyone on here to humbly ask for prayer, because I believe there is strength in prayer. I am a christian teenager and I am still struggling with sexual immorality, specifically lust. God saved me once, and I let him save me again. the Lord shall free thy true believers, and shall give grace to the humble not the pride.

My struggle is with food. I have in recent years struggled not so much with gluttony but with craving sweets, especially but not limited to chocolate. I need to listen to these verses, write them on index cards, memorize them, place them around our home. I am considerably overweight and a diabetic as well, so my health is at stake not just my self esteem for how I look and how I feel that I fail so miserably to resist my cravings, and that I am abusing my temple of the Holy Spirit. I would be horried if I saw someone cramming so much furniture, or other things, into a church until it began to crack the plaster, scrape the ceilings, ruining the building. Yet I eat things I know are not good for me as a diabetic. Anyone reading this please pray for me. 😔😩🤐

I To had the same struggles and had type 2! I FASTED AND PRAY changed my eating 🙏 filled up on scriptures and was and still being delivered amen 🙏 🙌
I used to struggle with this! Fasting and prayer will help as well as maybe trying olly combat craving vitamins, a fiber supplement like benefiber, and apple cider vinegar! I pray you get through this! 🙏🏾

Sometimes temptation comes to us several times and several times we will reject it. But there are times when we leave ourselves unguarded and that's the time temptation can work its way in our lives. Inasmuch as we want to protect ourserlves from all kinds of sins one way or the other we'll all fall a victim. Sad thing is they will call you a sinner. I too am a victim of it. I wanted to stay holy and blameless and yet I was deceived by the devil. And there is nothing you can do about it but ask for forgiveness and learn and be wise the next time. I just hope that I did not fail God. Which I think at least I did my best. "There is not a righteous man who does what is right and does not sin".(Eccl 7:20)
