We celebrate the life of my 29 year old son in a couple of hours. I have experienced much grief and loss in my life but none compares to the grief of a mother losing her child. Come quickly Lord and wipe away my tears.

Just lost my Grandfather I spent almost 6 years care giving for 24/7 7 days a week. I miss him so bad! He was the most faithful man in the Lord I ever met. I know some might not believe me but I never saw him angry one time in my life. Remember being a small child as he sat in the dark for hours praying for my mom and my brother and sister when my Dad would pull a drunk and leave us. Rest in peace! I know you are with our Savior!!

I just lost my wonderful husband from COVID-19. On October 20 .2021.at 5:30 am. the lord came and relieved my husband of his mouth long battle with covid. We have 4daughters. I was able to be with my husband every day until he passed. I held his hand and prayed with him. It is the most gut wrenching thing I ever went through. my husband was a man of great faith. I have been praying that the lord will bless me and my girls with that same faith and strength to deal with all that we are going through.

For anyone who has had someone pass, just remember they would not want you to mourn forever, they would want you to move on. That doesn't mean forgetting them, you will meet again, but until then try to find your path and move forward. Death is not the end. May the Lord give you peace even if you don't have understanding. One day at a time, until we meet again.
@@sully8751 you know they went to heaven if they accepted Jesus into their lives. If they didn't do this they are in hell. If they are in hell (which hopefully they aren't) just know that you are still alive. Jesus is giving you time to come to him and accept him into your life before your time comes. But don't worry. I recently just lost someone for the first time and I've gotta say that this ain't easy. As time goes on we will just have to accept that they are gone and we have to put all of the sadness to a side. I'm not saying to forget the person. I'm saying to forget the sadness and get yourself to be happy again. Jesus loves you and I love you too.
@@sully8751 well just know that your salvation is individual. You cannot count on anyone to do the work for you so that you'll get Into heaven. The person that you lost definitely already knew about Jesus before they died because everyone will know about Jesus before they die. If that person is in hell right now it's because they chose to not do anything for their salvation. If they are in hell I wouldn't be upset about it because it was their own fault. I know it's hard to think that someone you love is probably in hell but once you are in hell you cannot get out. Ever. It's not like you can take them out of there. That's why I told you to come to Jesus before its too late. You don't want to end up in hell do you? And no I'm not saying that your loved one is in hell. I'm just saying IF that person is in hell. Don't waste the time that Jesus is giving you. Use it wisely. Come to Jesus, accept him Into your life, and you will see how your life will change forever. He is the only God and the only one that can truly give you comfort and help in times of sadness. But hurry, because Jesus is coming soon. If he comes right now and you haven't accepted him into your life you will not be able to go with him to heaven.
My 43 year old son survived three tours of duty and received three purple hearts. He was medically retired from the army after spending his entire adult life serving our Country! When he return home he had some permanent brain damage! On April 7th he took his own life! He just couldn't walk out of the darkness the war put in him!!! All prayers are appreciated! This is the most devastating pain anyone could possibly imagine!!! I call on the name of Jesus everyday! Those scripture are powerful!!! Praise God!!!

I lost my dad 2 months ago & I lost myself to. My life would never be the same...my heart is broken. After the funeral everyone thinks everything is suddenly ok. They stop sending comforting texts.. encouraging words. I guess they think you are ok. I'm forever grateful for the Lord's word because this isn't something easy to go through.

I'd love to share my best friend's story with you. This family knows where to turn in times of grief. Family Story Little did our family of six know that Friday evening, September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our 16-year-old son, Ethan, played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for Ethan for a church mountain hike he was going on the following day. My mother (who was visiting from out of state) and I woke early with Ethan on Saturday morning. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he'd see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my "new driver" heading out on his own that morning. As Ethan pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mother and said, "It's just so hard letting go." Little did I know how much "letting go" I was really doing. That was the last time I saw Ethan. He did not make it home that evening. That afternoon, a friend tried to contact my husband, leaving an urgent message to call him back. He tried several times to return the call to no avail. As we were preparing supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan filled my heart. I quietly blinked back tears. I glanced out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pull up to the house, but no one arrived. However, within a few minutes, a patrol car DID pull into the driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst. My husband and I went out to meet the officer, who confirmed our fears. Hesitantly, he told us our son had fallen off of a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries. Our hearts were crushed; they still are. Yet, in all of our brokenness, deep, continual grief and loneliness, our family has such a blessed Hope and assurance that we will see our dear son and brother again. You see, when Ethan was a young boy, he was saved; he put his faith in Jesus alone to forgive his sins and to take him to Heaven when he died. He realized some very important truths from the Bible that he would want to share with you. His Story Everyone is a sinner. Sin is any violation of God’s Law. God is holy, just and righteous, and He cannot allow sin in His presence. Ethan realized that he - like all of us - had sinned; and his sin separated Him from God. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23) “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12) He understood that, because of his sin, he deserved to spend eternity in Hell. “For the wages of sin is death;” (Romans 6:23a) [Wages: price] “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8) Ethan believed that Jesus, God’s Son, paid the price for all sin when He died on the cross - because His sinless sacrifice was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous, holy God. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, but He arose the third day, triumphant over sin, death, and Hell. Jesus is alive today! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) Ethan was sorry for his sin, repented (turned), and received by faith the free gift that God offered to him. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) “...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b) Because of this great salvation, Ethan lived his life serving Jesus. He worked hard to spread this Good News to the world. He is alive in Heaven with Jesus today; and because of this great HOPE in Christ, we know we will see him again soon - not because he was a great kid, but because of his faith in the great Saviour! “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28) Your Story What about you? What if you had fallen to your death that day - What if you were to die today? Where will you spend eternity - Heaven or the Lake of Fire? There will not be any parties in the Lake of Fire. It is a place of eternal torment for those who reject God's Son. The Word of God is very clear that there is only One Way to Heaven. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) We did not know that Ethan would step into eternity that day; however, because he put his faith in Jesus alone for his salvation, Ethan was ready to go. Some day - perhaps today - you will take your last breath here on earth, and you will step into eternity. Where you spend eternity is determined by what you do with Jesus Christ. Will you accept Him or reject Him? You are not promised another day or another breath. Lost my father Feb 10, 2022. It was 4 days before Valentines Day, which would have been mom and dad’s 56th anniversary. Dad was at the ER for an overnight observation. He fell and got multiple brain bleeds. They did 2 brain surgeries on him. His body couldn’t take it. My sisters, mom and I surrounded him as he passed away. It doesn’t seem real that he is gone.

I lost my dad 2 months ago & I lost myself to. My life would never be the same...my heart is broken. After the funeral everyone thinks everything is suddenly ok. They stop sending comforting texts.. encouraging words. I guess they think you are ok. I'm forever grateful for the Lord's word because this isn't something easy to go through.

I'd love to share my best friend's story with you. This family knows where to turn in times of grief.
Family Story
Little did our family of six know that Friday evening, September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our 16-year-old son, Ethan, played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for Ethan for a church mountain hike he was going on the following day.
My mother (who was visiting from out of state) and I woke early with Ethan on Saturday morning. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he'd see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my "new driver" heading out on his own that morning. As Ethan pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mother and said, "It's just so hard letting go." Little did I know how much "letting go" I was really doing. That was the last time I saw Ethan. He did not make it home that evening.
That afternoon, a friend tried to contact my husband, leaving an urgent message to call him back. He tried several times to return the call to no avail. As we were preparing supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan filled my heart. I quietly blinked back tears. I glanced out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pull up to the house, but no one arrived. However, within a few minutes, a patrol car DID pull into the driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst. My husband and I went out to meet the officer, who confirmed our fears. Hesitantly, he told us our son had fallen off of
a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries. Our hearts were crushed; they still are.
Yet, in all of our brokenness, deep, continual grief and loneliness, our family has such a blessed Hope and assurance that we will see our dear son and brother again. You see, when Ethan was a young boy, he was saved; he put his faith in Jesus alone to forgive his sins and to take him to Heaven when he died. He realized some very important truths from the Bible that he would want to share with you.
His Story
Everyone is a sinner. Sin is any violation of God’s Law. God is holy, just and righteous, and He cannot allow sin in His presence. Ethan realized that he - like all of us - had sinned; and his sin separated Him from God.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23)
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)
He understood that, because of his sin, he deserved to spend eternity in Hell.
“For the wages of sin is death;” (Romans 6:23a) [Wages: price]
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)
Ethan believed that Jesus, God’s Son, paid the price for all sin when He died on the cross - because His sinless sacrifice was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous, holy God. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, but He arose the third day, triumphant over sin, death, and Hell. Jesus is alive today!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Ethan was sorry for his sin, repented (turned), and received by faith the free gift that God offered to him.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
“...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b)
Because of this great salvation, Ethan lived his life serving Jesus. He worked hard to spread this Good News to the world. He is alive in Heaven with Jesus today; and because of this great HOPE in Christ, we know we will see him again soon - not because he was a great kid, but because of his faith in the great Saviour!
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28)
Your Story
What about you? What if you had fallen to your death that day - What if you were to die today? Where will you spend eternity - Heaven or the Lake of Fire? There will not be any parties in the Lake of Fire. It is a place of eternal torment for those who reject God's Son.
The Word of God is very clear that there is only One Way to Heaven.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
We did not know that Ethan would step into eternity that day; however, because he put his faith in Jesus alone for his salvation, Ethan was ready to go. Some day - perhaps today - you will take your last breath here on earth, and you will step into eternity. Where you spend eternity is determined by what you do with Jesus Christ. Will you accept Him or reject Him? You are not promised another day or another breath. Eternity begins soon - Are you ready?
“...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” (Acts 16:31b)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
“(...behold, now is the day of salvation.)” (2 Corinthians 6:2c)

Lost my father Feb 10, 2022. It was 4 days before Valentines Day, which would have been mom and dad’s 56th anniversary. Dad was at the ER for an overnight observation. He fell and got multiple brain bleeds. They did 2 brain surgeries on him. His body couldn’t take it. My sisters, mom and I surrounded him as he passed away. It doesn’t seem real that he is gone.
I lost my mother Virginia Vasquez on August 19th 2022 today is her viewing and I couldn't attend but I will be there tomorrow for her mass. I pray My Lord God allows her into His Glory. Still in denial or shock. It feels unreal. I lost my brother tonight. I listen to scriptures and affirmation for peace so searched grieving death. Still grieving my fathers death 4 yrs ago. Not my only sibling who i share both parents with. My look alike. My sweet bother. His worthy life 😢 please if you have emotional anguish we have to get therapy and cope healthier.
