These are examples of the many ceremonial laws that formed the culture of ancient Israel, but are not universal moral principles that apply to all people in all places for all times. Most Christians believe they are not bound by these symbolic laws of the Old Testament and are free to shave, cut their hair, wear cotton-poly blend t-shirts, and each cheeseburgers. It is true that Leviticus 19 also contains laws that are clearly moral laws that apply to all people for all times, such as vv. 15, 19, 29, 35. The true Golgotha has a similar name today 'skull hill' the Holy Supulcre site was only the Emperor's mother Helena's word, today it is steeped in religion but the skull hill site is such a humble site and has garden and the tomb is there today. Archaeologically it fits too as the Sepulchre site is too close to the outer wall but the skull hill site is situated in the best site as required by the Romans to make a visible warning to travellers. I love the conviction of the visitors, they certainly will need both courage and love to wisely handle the affairs of Christian life back home in refuting the evils of Islam and manifesting Jesus to a confused and dying world.
The Greek word "tekton" which Mark uses to describe Jesus (Mk 6:3) means "builder." Since the primary building material in first-century Israel was stone, it follows that Jesus worked primarily by building with stone, thus a stonemason.
I am confused one of the ladies has said that she just got re baptised . As a Catholic I believe that we only have one baptism . Yes we can renew our baptism vows and also get baptised in the Holy Spirit , like a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit . Not re- baptism.
We remind the pilgrims on our trip that Paul wrote, "There is one body and one Spirit - just as you were called to one hope at your calling - 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all." (Ephesians 4:4-6 ) We explain to them that, if they are already baptized, we are offering an opportunity to renew their baptism, not to be re-baptized. Sometimes people who are thinking of it as a renewal of their baptism unconsciously slip into saying "re-baptized."

Thanks for your question. In the Old Testament the people of Israel would periodically gather at the Temple and renew their covenant relationship with God. It was a way of publically renewing and confirming the promises that bound them to their Lord. Sometimes today couples will publically renew their marital covenant in order to strength and confirm their relationship. Renewing your baptism is much like that. It is a way of publically remembering, celebrating, and confirming your relationship with God. It is a beautiful spiritual experience.
Because that is at Ceasarea Philippi where Jesus took the disciples on their final retreat before turning his face toward Jerusalem. On our trips and in my books I make it clear that Jesus would have taken his disciples to that region, but not to the cave. It is helpful to understand what Jesus was referring to when he said "the gates of hell will not prevail against a church" founded on the faith Peter expressed. The cave of Pan was thought to be a gatway to the underworld. Unfortunately in a 90 minute film we didn't have time to give all these details.

The true Golgotha has a similar name today 'skull hill' the Holy Supulcre site was only the Emperor's mother Helena's word, today it is steeped in religion but the skull hill site is such a humble site and has garden and the tomb is there today. Archaeologically it fits too as the Sepulchre site is too close to the outer wall but the skull hill site is situated in the best site as required by the Romans to make a visible warning to travellers. I love the conviction of the visitors, they certainly will need both courage and love to wisely handle the affairs of Christian life back home in refuting the evils of Islam and manifesting Jesus to a confused and dying world.

I thought Jesus was a carpenter, not a stonemason...
The Greek word "tekton" which Mark uses to describe Jesus (Mk 6:3) means "builder." Since the primary building material in first-century Israel was stone, it follows that Jesus worked primarily by building with stone, thus a stonemason.
I am confused one of the ladies has said that she just got re baptised . As a Catholic I believe that we only have one baptism . Yes we can renew our baptism vows and also get baptised in the Holy Spirit , like a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit . Not re- baptism.
We remind the pilgrims on our trip that Paul wrote, "There is one body and one Spirit - just as you were called to one hope at your calling - 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all." (Ephesians 4:4-6 ) We explain to them that, if they are already baptized, we are offering an opportunity to renew their baptism, not to be re-baptized. Sometimes people who are thinking of it as a renewal of their baptism unconsciously slip into saying "re-baptized."

Can somebody explains what renewal of baptism vows means spiritually ?
Thanks for your question. In the Old Testament the people of Israel would periodically gather at the Temple and renew their covenant relationship with God. It was a way of publically renewing and confirming the promises that bound them to their Lord. Sometimes today couples will publically renew their marital covenant in order to strength and confirm their relationship. Renewing your baptism is much like that. It is a way of publically remembering, celebrating, and confirming your relationship with God. It is a beautiful spiritual experience.

Okay, why on earth is "the cave of pan" on the Jesus tour ??? Please help me understand this, what am I missing?
Because that is at Ceasarea Philippi where Jesus took the disciples on their final retreat before turning his face toward Jerusalem. On our trips and in my books I make it clear that Jesus would have taken his disciples to that region, but not to the cave. It is helpful to understand what Jesus was referring to when he said "the gates of hell will not prevail against a church" founded on the faith Peter expressed. The cave of Pan was thought to be a gatway to the underworld. Unfortunately in a 90 minute film we didn't have time to give all these details.
