In this time today we're facing, it's important to look at our lives and how our personal relationship is with the Lord. Are we living for the Lord and doing Father's commandments? This is the time to reflect on how we are as believers and putting Jesus first in our lives above all things. Let's all reflect on our ways and how we can better ourselves for the Glory of God in this time and draw even closer to him by obeying his commandments and feeding on his word. Let's be open-minded on how we are daily towards others and can we do better.

Peace be upon you. I had to explain to my husband recently that I am drawn to works for Yeshua as a disciple, not because I think I will find my way to Heaven there, but because HE said to and nothing He asks of me is too much to ask of me. Yes, he spoke many parables, but he also explained them plainly. He is our teacher and example of Discipleship, our Messiah, and our Lord.
Also, it is astonishing how much foreshadowing there is for the New Testament in The Old, and I have only barely made it to the book of Kings in my first cover-to-cover read through as a believer. I mean, even from the lips of David in 2 Samuel 22 (which is apparently Psalm 18). 😱🥰🕊

It is so clear, and yet people get it so screwed up because they go by feelings and not by the Word.

I participated in the fasting and I feel this was so good to me.
A perfect lamb without flaw would be sacrificed for the forgiveness of sins. That would last a year. Jesus was crucified for every sin we commit. The sacrifice of animals was gone. Jesus did it all. Now anyone can get eternally saved by trusting in Jesus. That is a great gift.

The blood Jesus shed over 2,000 years ago is still enough to save us all from sin and death! He is our Savior and sacrificial Covenent with God and the only true way to Heaven and eternal life! We celebrate His priceless gift through Holy Communion with the bread and wine which are symbols of His body and blood shed for us. So too did Christ fulfill both .
Not only did He become the sacrifice who atoned for our sins on youm Kippur, but He also offered His own blood which became the sacrifice , and simultaneously became the Holy Priest who offered it…
Thus making way for us to have a direct relationship with God, through Christ Jesus.

The Day of Atonement is literally a title for Jesus. This just blew my mind.
