That's not true,no where in the old testament did God commanded lambs sacrifice as sin offering, it is bull and goat sacrifice, if lamb then female lamb. You explained everything in depth and I was able to receive a greater understanding of the whole need for the sacrificial system and God's love in offering His Son on the cross as an atonement sacrifice for our sins, and why it was necessary to redeem us to Himself and into fellowship with His perfect Light and bring us into relationship with Himself so that through that relationship and His Holy Spirit of pure love, we could be perfected in His love and see ourselves and others through that love and in that love and as that kove, and be free from sin and death, as the Bible teaches in 1John 4:7-19; and John 8:31,32,34,36; &17:23,26; and Mathew 6:43-48, and 2Thessalonians 3:5. I believe Jesus has atoned our sins already. If not then we are not right with God. Hebrews 10 is what backs this truth. I am Christian and I believe Jesus resolved my sin days perpetually. What are your thoughts? The Trumpets is going to be complete when Jesus reaps the harvest of those who believe in Him dead in Christ first then those who remain.
It seems like the main things to focus on for Yom Kippur would be a thanks--and acceptance--for Christ's blood sacrifice, also a confession of our own sins. I don't see any need to focus on ancient animal sacrifices, which are obsolete at this point.
Just replying to myself. After saying that the animal sacrifices are obsolete at this point, I'm remembering that Israel will apparently have sacrifices at the rebuilt temple just before the Tribulation. In fact, it's my opinion that this is the event that will lead to the Tribulation. But beyond that, I've heard that sacrifices will be offered during the Millennial Kingdom, after Christ returns to earth to rule for the 1,000 yrs. before the White Throne Judgment. Why would animal sacrifices be reinstituted at this time? Animal sacrifices have always bothered me. It bothers me also very much to eat animals. I tried unsuccessfully for several years to be vegetarian. Another thing that bothers me about animal issues is why animals have to suffer in this world? I understand why we people suffer, but animals don't sin. The only guess I can take is that animals are part of the same creation as we are, and when people sinned and ruined the world, the world went into a fallen state, and animals are the victims of this fallen state, even though they had no part in creating it. They are part of the same creation as us so have moved with us into a state of suffering. On the brighter side, it means that since people have the opportunity of going to heaven, then animals do, too, since they move with us as part of the same creation. Although all people don't go to heaven, under this scenario or possibility, then certainly all animals would go to heaven, since they are blameless for sin. They are the only true innocents.
Animal sacrifice would be an abomination at this point since Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice fulfilling the scriptures. A 3rd rebuilt temple would only be an insult to Yahweh , especially since He destroyed the last one in 70 a.d.. . God bless , I do not mean. to insult anyone,

No, what he is saying is this. The blood of the spotless animals that were used in the dispensation of the old testament is a down payment or credit to what YESHUA would ultimately do.
